How do I enlarge the print on the pages
If you want to know how to enlarge the print while visting web pages, there's a little trick you can use with your mouse if it has a scroll wheel.
While pointing the mouse at an area on the screen, hold down one of the keys labeled Ctrl on your keyboard (there should be two). Then roll the wheel on the mouse forward to enlarge the screen and backward to reduce the size.
This will also work in some applications, but you'd have to try it to be sure.

Hi
Ok, I have to make assumptions here. Your old monitor and old hard drive went out at the same time? If this is the case then the problem is that the new hard drive has nothing on it. The manufacturer should have given you or sold you a set of recovery CD's. You'll need these to replace the NTFS partition and the operating system. Good luck
The color is too dark
open the monitor you will see the eht a biggest black part on pcb take the screwdriver and rotate the preset on that eht on which screen is written .do it in active monitor and look on the screen and finish after satisfaction
The monitor began to fizz
Most likely the powersupply on your display has gone bad, you might need to replace the internal powersupply or take it to a repairer.
E machine monitor turns itself off and on
The same thing happened to me today. I was just sitting in my room then i hear a click and the cpu is on it stays on for a while then cuts off. It then cuts on and off with few seconds in between. It then stays in that way cutting and off for about a minite or two and then cuts off completely. A few minutes later it starts again. Also in the time it its off it will not turn on by pressing the power button. Sometimes it completly boots up by itself and then shuts itself down. If I shut it down manually while its on it'll turn itself on immeditaly after. What's going on! Will the warranty cover it? Do I need a new computer?
My Sister has a dell monitor and a emachines
They are compatible, make sure your connectors are right... If the emachine is using a graphics card, make sure it is hooked up to the greaphics card not the motherboard but if you do have it hooked up to the graphics card, then try the motherboard's video output.

First check num lock led status on key board when you power up the computer if it is on and off when you press num lock key then your cpu working fine but if it is constant then you need to open cpu cabient reattch the RAM memory pull cmos cell from motherboard for 10 minutes.Reattch the processor and its fan.
make sure motherboard is not gorund with cabinet. If you have vga card then reattach into its slot.
But if num lock led is on and off then when you power up the computer press F8 key then enter in enable vga mode then go to control panel->display property ->settings then change screen resolution to 1024*768 then apply and ok.

Getting my internet explorer to work?
Hi
Thank you for your query
The reason that you are getting this message is because internet explorer (IE) is looking at your LAN connection as the default connection.
to change this and to point it towards your dial up please do the following
1) click Start>Control Panel>Internet Options
2) In the internet options window click on the tab that says connections
3) half way down the page there will be a option that says 'always dial my default connection' put a dot in that box
4) Click apply/OK and next time you click on IE your dial up box will come up andask you to connect
If this has been useful please leave positive feedback/vote/testimonial - Thank you again
