E19t6w going black but indicates its still on.
Please try it with another PC, if it still does not work, then you will have to open it up. If you are going to DIY, please read below and check out my pictures so you will know what to look for inside.
Most common failures in the LCD monitors are bad capacitors (bulging top/seal or leaking) in the power supply, failed inverter circuits (blown fuse, shorted transistors, shorted/open transformers), bad lamps (poor solder connections or worn out lamps). You will need to open it up and inspect the inside, see example of failed monitors to get some ideas what to look for: http://s807.photobucket.com/home/budm/allalbums
Post back what you see inside so we can guide you further and it will help out other people in the future also.

HOW TO USE EMACHINES RECOVERY DISCS
Turn your computer on.
When you see "Press <BLAH> to enter BIOS SETUP mode", press the <BLAH> key.
Change the "boot-order" to select your CD/DVD drive as the "first" boot device.
Put the first recovery-disk into your CD/DVD drive.
Save-and-exit from BIOS SETUP.
Your computer will "boot" from the media in the CD/DVD drive, and thus will start the "recovery" process.
My monitor will not stay on, it goes on sleep mode
Hi,
Your problem may be due to the sleep button in your keyboard may got struct into when you cleaned your keyboard.
Try to resolve the struct in the keys, if any.
Restart your system and if still your problem persists, then remove your keyboard and restart your computer and try with some other keyboard if possible. Once if you find out that the problem is with your keyboard, then replace the keyboard / service the existing one.'
I hope this is helpful to you. Please provide your ratings.
Thanks
I dont have a power cord for a monitor a friend
99% of monitors use a "standard" PC power-cable, exactly the same as is between your computer's power-supply and the wall outlet.
Go to any "Thrift Store", and don't pay more than $1 for a power-cable.
Monitor colors cannot be seen?
Need to verify that you get the same result with other PC. Try resetting the monitor setting to factory default , VGA cable. It can be video card or the monitor. Post back what you find so we can guide you further
My emachine t3624 can't get the 1920 x 1080
Your monitor is capable of that resolution, but your video card may not have enough memory or speed to provide a resolution of 1920 x 1080 x 32 bits of color @ 60 Hz (assuming that you are using the video output from your emachine's motherboard)
Your best bet is to buy a cheap video card that can give you that resolution.
The display screen got smaller. How can I bring it
You have to change the resolution of the screen.
Right click on the desktop, not on an icon- Properties- settings- at the "Screen Resolution" box increase the value.
This picture is for Windows Xp.
The following is for Windows Vista:
Select display settings and a window almost the same will appear. Again increase the value.
If you need further assistance, just post a comment.
No picture will appear on my Eview 15 monitor
I assume that you get the same result with another PC and already try new VGA cable, just want to narrow down the problem before trying to take the monitor apart.

I want to format my
you may need to set your bios so your first boot device is the cd drive.
when you turn your computer, look quickly for any message that mentions a key (like del, esc, ,tab, f1, f2... among others as it maybe different among brands) at the bottom of the screen that can get you into "setup" (bios)
on bios look for something that says something like "boot" or "start up" or "configuration" go into it
there you need to set your cd drive to be the first in the list before your hard disk. once completed go to exit and exit saving the changes. your computer will reboot and if your cd drive is in the cd room and it is bootable your computer should boot from the cd.
alternatively when you turn your computer on you may see a key to press to change your boot device. press than key to change your boot configuration making the cd drive the first in the list (you usually can press the space bar or the + or - to move a device up or down.
if this does not work it could be either 2 things
1. you did not save your configuration when changing the boot order in bios.
2. your cd is not a bootable cd, try it in another machine and make sure it is bootable.
3. your cd drive is probably failing so it is not reading any cd inserted.
good luck!
Where to find a product key to validate microsoft
Tough I am not sure the reason for the key requirement, following suggestion would help considering the End users license agreement of Microsoft. Key requirement could be due to-1) Trial version getting converted to full version- For this you need to purchase the full version and you will get the product key.2) Full version key damaged or lost- You can contact Microsoft. Find support option from this link-
http://support.microsoft.com/contactus/?ws=support. 3) If the CD is of someone else's, would recomend to avoid piracy.
