My emachines e19t6w monitor keep shutting off and

Click start and then control panel and then performance and then maintenance, and then power options. Move the bar to "NEVER" where is reads 'TURN OFF THE MONITOR" Also select a preinstalled Windows screen saver instead of a picture. Sometimes a downloaded picture can become a corrupt file and then it would show black after the time allowed for the screen saver to come on begains to show on the monitor screen. Next, download and run this free registry cleaner program:

Try to use another monitor to be sure that it's not a video card problem. And change the signal cable too.

Monitor can only hold image for 3 sec before going black

Power supply caps will be the first things to inspect.
Most common failures in the LCD monitors are bad capacitors (bulging top/seal or leaking) in the power supply, blown fuses, poor solder joints, failed inverter circuits (blown fuse, shorted transistors, shorted/open transformers), bad lamps (poor solder connections or worn out lamps). You will need to open it up and inspect the inside, see example of failed monitors to get some ideas what to look for: http://s807.photobucket.com/home/budm/allalbums
Post back what you see inside so we can guide you further and it will help out other people in the future also.

I dont know how it happend, but 3 black lines and ...

That means that the inside of your moniter has cracked somehow...did you move it or anything?

It can be fixed, but it normally costs a couple hundred dollars for the professionals to do it, i would just buy a desktop because e-machine laptops are a bit funky.

Their desktop moniters seem easily fragile too, i would be careful around their products.

No Signal R,G,B

It is telling you that it is not getting the video signal from your PC, you need to check all the pins on the VGA cable and make sure it has good connections at both ends. Also try it on another PC since the problem can also be in your video card in your PC.

Monitor cuts off

This could be the result of a few different things. If you haven't checked, click start, control panel, performance and maintenance, and power options. In this box, there should be numerous setting possibly pertaining to your specific problem. Also, ensure your cpu fan is running. A failed cpu fan will make your monitor turn off. Additionally you will have to make sure your power supply isn't bad. The easy fix is the first of the issues though.

My monitor will constantly bring up options and

flynnc7, 5% chance it's software problem, 95% chance it's going to need internal ac to dc power supply "refurbishment" with new "electrolytic filter capacitors" to fix a "noisy" +5v and +12v dc supply rail. Do some reading here on fixya in the fixya profiles of any CCFL back-lit lcd monitor technicians and follow the links you find there. Some units can be DIY repaired for less than $6 in parts if you learn enough to DIY. Else trade-in for new if unit is acting same way when connected to "known-good" pc. 12fixlouie

Blue tint on monitor

If you mean you can still see your screen and everything on it, but everything is very blue, then check your video cable from the PC to the monitor.

It will have a broken wire inside and is a common problem. Just wiggle it around in a circle and it should come good. Hold it in that position with something until you can replace the cable.

I would not plug it in the outlet any more, you need to open it up and inspect the inside.

WILL NOT LIGHT UP-COMPLETELY DEAD

Do you see an orange light on the monitor anywhere? Usually the light turns green when the monitor comes on, but its orange when in "standby" mode. If your monitor is plugged in and you get an orange light, that usually means that your video card has gone out on your computer. When your video card goes out, the monitor doesn't receive a signal from your computer, so it doesn't know it is suppose to turn on. So if this is the case, you need to replace the video card on your computer

If your monitor doesn't turn on whatsoever, and everything is plugged in correctly, then you need to get a new monitor or send this one back to the manufacturer for a defective replacement.

Hope this helps! :)

Change from a monitor to a flatscreen

You need hook up your old monitor back and set the PC video resolution to 1024 × 768 @ 60Hz which is the native/max resolution of the E15T4, remove the old Dell monitor and connect your E15T4.
You are getting out of range because your PC video resolution is too high for the E15T4 to display.
