Maybe, It doesn't work because the driver/application you installed is for other versions of operating system. I am also using windows 7 like you so don't you worry, You can still use your old installer/driver from other versions of operating systems. Just remember that before installing any program in a windows 7 Operating System Computer, Use "troubleshoot compatibility". Right Click the Icon of your program installer/application first, then choose "troubleshoot compatibility". This will allow you to choose on what type operating system your program will run. Just reply back if it still doesn't work.:D rate and vote for me:))

Your camera's mechanical need servicing,its mode selector gear need to clean or replace mechanical,your problem will solve

That sounds like the shutter is stuck closed. Unless you're highly technical, if will most likely require servicing. Get an estimate first, the repair cost can be worth more than the camera.

Use DV port with 1394 cable for video transfer otherwise use ULEAD software for USB socket

Hi! I had the same problem with my nv-gs11
I tried everything i could for about 3 hours :( even tried to open the damned thing but no luck with that... But when i gave upp on the camera i just happend to fix it...... But it is on your own risk of damage.... So here is what i did. Have the camera turned on and have the outer door out all the way... Then i just gave it a few light bangs so it went in a bit.... And WOALLA!!! it started to sound bzzz and the hatch went all the way upp again :) Hope it works for all you with the same problem! Bye

I have a camcorder jvc GR-D395U, and i cant upload my videos to my computer. I can use USB port with adapter for analoge video and digital video but i need for something else because i can not find the image, i can not read dhe video in my computer. THANKS IN ADVANCES.

here you will find almost all drivers from Panasonic available on the market ...
try the name almost the same ones...ar the general ( large specter)
if you find one that will recognize your device ...but doesn't have the ways to download...install a program for transferring from capture devices..like acdsee or so...and if the device is seen by the pc ...it will allow ya to transfer the captures with any program that have this feature

I don't have specific editing software, but I recently bought windows Vista 32bit. I have a Panasonic NVGS15 video cam. When I try to connect the DV cam to the computer via a USB, it keeps telling me the drivers are not valid for this OS. Which then means when I go into movie maker, it doesn't recognise the camera as connected. The Panasonic website does not have any new drivers.Where do I get the drivers to down load the same

You are probably more of a person into the actually editing of cameras than the technical know how for this type of problem, but I thought I would give it a try.
