here you will find almost all drivers from Panasonic available on the market ...
try the name almost the same ones...ar the general ( large specter)
if you find one that will recognize your device ...but doesn't have the ways to download...install a program for transferring from capture devices..like acdsee or so...and if the device is seen by the pc ...it will allow ya to transfer the captures with any program that have this feature

From my poin of view cyliner (rotary head) have poor conection or this parts will be replace.

Not really a solution. But I find a bit of blank tape and record for a few seconds. Stop rewind and for some reason it clears the black lines. Until the next time. Pain but it works for me.

I don't have specific editing software, but I recently bought windows Vista 32bit. I have a Panasonic NVGS15 video cam. When I try to connect the DV cam to the computer via a USB, it keeps telling me the drivers are not valid for this OS. Which then means when I go into movie maker, it doesn't recognise the camera as connected. The Panasonic website does not have any new drivers.Where do I get the drivers to down load the same

You are probably more of a person into the actually editing of cameras than the technical know how for this type of problem, but I thought I would give it a try.

You may want to try hooking up to a firewire port - I did that with my Canon and it works great.

You cannot transfer video from this model camera using either the USB connector (it is for single still shots only).  The NV-GS11EB also has a Firewire port next to the mini USB.  However, if has no function on this model. On the higher spec NV-GS15B the firewire supports Digital Video in (but not OUT)

Very likely a costly repair , to tell you the extent of the damage it is the whole camera unless theres a saftey device such as a replaceable fuse which is in doubt of small electronics.If its got a hard drive you can try to take it out and salvage the contents by using a recovery service.If its disc based the only thing you can do is literally nothing but remove any storage mediums in it.

Dear sir, Please check right side of the mechnism their will be plasic stud. Clean that stud properly. & check tape inserting side some metal type contacts also clean it will be in right side of the mechanism. thank u. reply if any problem
