that error is to do with the lazer lens that reads the disc, you can try a cleaning disc or using a can of comressed air. it could also be a worn spindle, but that normally makes the mechanism noisy.

Since you have cconfirmed on the fault the only way is to remove it without trying to use the normal method as maybe it could be jammed in.
You will need to remove the covers, first the door covers and then the mian covers, remove the scres on the sides and the cam will open out from both the sides. the battery terminal section also must be removed seperating to allow the main panel to move out. Be very careful with the ribbon wires and use very little force so as not to tear it from the connectors, the display also must be handled carefully.
Once you have access to the Cd, check to see if the CD was loaded well and is rotating free, if not do not attempt to rotate if jammed as you might damage the head.Use a tiny screwdriver to thread the gear so as to assist the eject mechansim to move and release the CD. This must be done with great precaution and As I mentioned soft plastic screw driver is good to turn the gear drive.from the eject motor. Once the Cd is released you can use the power cord to check with a good CD but make sure that all connections are in order and there is no object to short the main board.
Now you can reassemble the cam back taking time to set the covers carefully and delicately.

you just need to replace optical pick up of the set. It must be costing abt rs 6500/-

you just need a driver for your palmcorder. you can download a softwares on any website. try to be a member here in download the driver install it to your pc and your ready to go. hope that helps!

I will risk a bad rating but blame it on Microsoft and then blame Panasonic for not making one themselves. There may be third party drivers but can either cost money or can void a warranty. Sorry but you will have to do a search for it on your because I cannot recommend anyone at this point at this point.
