Too many routers on the same channel in close proximity causes interference and will cause wireless devices to intermittently disconnect from the wifi. I would look at the charging port on the laptop itself. It may be bad or not fully attached to the motherboard. Does the charge indicator light come on? If not, try cleaning it with rubbing alcohol and then slowly moving the charging plug around where it connects to the laptop and see if the light comes on at all.
