No display

On the front panal you should have some config buttons for the monitor setup. One of the buttons also switches video input mode but you have to hold it for a couple of seconds and it switches from dvi mode to analog. That may fix it.

Problem with Dell E152FP Monitor

If you open the monitor up, on the inverter board is a 1000uF 16v capacitor that goes bad. If you replace that it should fix the problem. Look at the top of all the capacitors and you should see one that's popped up on the top, that would be the bad one. Some soldering is required. Make sure you put the negative white stripe on the white side of the silk screen on the board! Its a simple fix just sounds difficult.

I have a E152FP monitor will this work with a graphics card that has a DMS-59 connection

The monitor will work with that video card but the resolution needs to be set to 1024 X 768 or less. Your video card is trying to display the picture at a resolution that the monitor can not handle correctly so you get the video mode error. You will need to use the windows video settings screen to change the settings for that display than you will be good to go.

Red screen on E152fpc monitor

Hello, A red or pink tint on LCD monitor indicates that the CFL backlight bulbs are failing. These are just like the florescent bulbs you use at home and the office but much smaller. When they are about the fail they will have a red tint to the light instead of white. They can be replaced but on a 15" LCD its not worth the price and trouble to do it. The bulbs will run about $35 and then about 1 hour to install if you know what you are doing. It would be better for you to get a replacement monitor.

This is the back light. If you are lucky the solder or a cable has let loose on the bottom of the screen inside the case and you can redo them. This of course voids any warranty. If you are unlucky you are looking at a screen replacement.

I have a Dell 1905FP

Try deconnect and reconnect the screen to the computer. You can also try to use a different cable or port on your computer to connect it. Also, in the "video preference" of your computer, be sure you activate this monitor.
