To solve the problem of this jvc,
1.open the mechanism side as if you want to eject it,you will then place it in a hot place so that the mechanism can get worm

This is usually caused by a failed component in the moisture detection circuitry within the camera. This will require disassembling the camera to remove the tape mechanism and repair. This can usually be done fairly inexpensively. However, it's not a user serviceable problem and will need to be repaired qualified service technician.

Hey that is a classic video camera, very cool, one of the first to have PC connectivity, one of the first to use a firewire connection (fast) to a PC, all that in mind the little docking station that came with it should have video (RCA) type plugs on it that would match up to most TV's and VCR's (if you still have one) DVD players, you can play back your movies. It has the ability to store analog to digital onto your computer - if you have a DVD burner on your PC you can make DVD's out of those old movies with your kids, that would be the way to go. I'll dig around to see if one of my sources still has his manual for this camera. I'll check back with you within the next day.

Sorry, no. The GR-DX97 is limited to MMC and SD cards, 2GB and smaller.

The condensation error occurs when the dew sensor detects high amount of moisture in the surroundings. It can also be triggered when you enter an air-condtioned place with the humidity set to a high level. The easiest fix will be to put the camcorder in a warm room and leave it on for a few hours and the message should clear by itself. Blowing it with a hair drier for a while will also help if leaving it on does not resolve the problem. Try it and let me know

Condensation Alert is normal behaviour if you have taken the camera, for example, from a warm heated room to an outside cold environment. This is to prevent damage to tape or camera.
Wait until the camera acclimatizes (no moisture in the camera) to the new conditions and try again.
If the above is not the problem, take the camea to an Authorised Dealer for diagnosis.

Hi, We cannot find JVC service center in your town. But you may try this tips : Once you plug in to power outlet Check power on your charger. If there is, connect to your camcoder. Turn on your camcoder. If it can turn on , your battery is flat.

You have to ajust the lens ajustment or the panel must be closed! or see setting at your Menu!

You can but the company battery in you nearest product service center for that specific product company

Try running a cleaning tape through the JVC 2 or 3 times and also wiping all around the tape compartment with a long cotton bud soaked with isopropyl alcohol. It cured my problem in Singapore.

Turn the camera to video, playback mode. See if that works.
