Sony Handycam CCD-TRV328 Camcorder Questions & Answers
Have a Sony CCD-TRV328 Hi
Hi,
Sony CCD-TRV328 is Hi-8 Analog camcorder that can not be hooked with computer directly because computer needs digital video signal/ data and your said camcorder has analog movie.
Plug camcorder in DVD recorder and burn DVD, this will convert camcorder analog movie into digital video data then put that DVD in computer and save files for further process/ edit etc.
Thanks.

Black lcd screeen on my sony handycam
first check the iris of the camera if it is
opening, you will see this when you look inside the lens of the camera
when you turn on and off the switch at camera mode if the iris is
opening....if the iris is ok the second problem may occurs of your
camera is the ccd image sensor....go to a sony service center for
replacing that...i know it is free for replacing that sensor cause that
is the recall product not only on sony but in other brand because the
manufacturer of their sensor is only one company....

The best thing you can do now is to take it to a specialist and get them to do the repairs. Camcorders have a lot of electronics in them and can be easily damaged if your a not an experienced repairer. You might also have to consider that this camcorder might not be repairable.

TRV260 nail-polish head attack:
eek.
Acetone is a powerful solvent capable of dissolving plastic parts, plastic gears, housing and insulation.
Besides that, it leaves a residue of microscopic crystals which have probably contaminated the highly-polished metal head drum.
Not to mention gumming up the bushes and bearings.
With your next camera, rather use a head-cleaner DV-tape.
