If you have DVD Recorder then hook your Video-8 camera in analog AV input and burn a DVD, this will convert analog video/ audio signal of camcorder in digital format and transfer the data on DVD as well. Put that dvd in computer and save it in computer.

Push in the cassette compartment not the lid

the problem of your camera is the lens assembly.... one of the lens motor is not running or stuck up...try to remove the connection of the lens assembly and back it again...

did you go to the authorised service centre for sony. Cause so many parts cant just go kaput at the same time...

Check the memory stick for a little slide lock on the side. Make sure that is not in the locked position. This feature is there to prevent people from recording over special memories, like weddings. But sometimes during handling (or just not knowing) people accidentally switch it to "lock" Good luck

Same happend to mine I pressed on cassette cover while pressing eject tokk a few times but it worked

In your case only way is videocapture card ot TV-tuner with such feature. Sorry pal
