problem with the power unit

Well...you can kicks and screams all you like. It's won't help... It's seems your inverter busted, need to replaced a new ones. Have funs!

U are using a Antenna for free AIR tv correct?Yes?Get a better antenna like a digital antenna should solved this problems,now a day a digital tv and a digital signal pretty strong this day,regular antenna will have this problems,because it tune into a radio waves signal too.

I have a feeling that the monitor has the problem, monitor can take +/- 10% voltage variation.
You said the backligts are on, do they stay on? You should be able to see the glowing screen in the dark room, if it does stay on, then you may have T-CON board problem.
I cannot see how the seller says that it works when the person does not have the power supply to try it out first.

Try it on another PC first to narrow down the problem, if it still does not work then you need to open it up.
Most common failure in the LCD monitors are bad capacitors (bulging top/seal or leaking) in the power supply, failed inverter circuits (blown fuse, shorted transistors, shorted/open transformers), bad lamps (poor solder connections or worn out lamps). try resetting the setup i mean setting it up again also what happens when you turn the monitor off and back on

my tv had gone child lock problem & one chenal show the tv. please slove this problem. because remote has been not working.
