This is most likely caused by a damaged or misaligned video drum and can usually be repaired fairly inexpensively. However, it's not a user serviceable problem and will need to be repaired by a qualified service technician.

How do I make a cd from a camcorder ZR70 tape

Very simple!  Copy the tape to your computer and from your computer to your cd-rw/dvd-rw.  You need to hock your camcorder to your computer through cable and driver for your operating system.

I HAVE A CANON CAMCORDER

Try to clean the VCR head.  You can buy a tape cleaner from Walmart.  It is not cheap!  It is about $15-$25.  Or you can clean it yourself (on your own risk) by using alcohol 91 and a soft cloth.  Clean the head going in one way (one to two times only,)  NOT BACK AND FORTH.  THE HEAD OR HEADS LOCATED ON THE DRUM (THE ROUND SILVER OBJECT)

Image does not appear on screen or viewfinder ,,

The purpose of the back-up battery is only to provide power to the Date/Time feature and to keep the cameras settings while you change the main battery. It will not affect the cameras basic operation.

The problem you describe is usually caused by an oxidized or defective Audio/Video drum. Try running a cleaning tape through the camera. If this does not solve the problem the camera will need to be repaired qualified service technician.

Emptied card in camera and says its full after one

Are you sure your camera is actually switched to use the card or it's internal memory. It's possible your card has become corrupted and only has enough room for 1 picture. The card can be reformatted but use the camera to do it, not your computer. When you format using the camera make doubly sure you have either external power applied or a good set of fully charged batteries on board.

If the power fails during a reformat you can ruin the card for good. Also, if you have a spare card which most people do, give it a try to see if it works OK. Unfortunately some cards don't last forever and can eventually die.
