Possible failed battery/low capacity. How old is the battery?

Also check the camera manual if there is a reset button on the camera body.

Ahh Are you sure the tape is compatible?check tape compatibility..That happen sometimes if its not compatible..

This is usually caused by an oxidized or defective Audio/Video drum. Try running a cleaning tape through the camera. If this does not solve the problem the camera will need to be serviced by a qualified service technician.

Hi, I am not recommend you to use Computer USB port. This port only dedicated to power flash disc and some cellular phones. Voltage of Computer USB port is 5 VDC.

Is your new battery charged? You may need to place it in the charger or hook the camera to the AC power and leave it overnight. If you have a charging cradle try to charge the battery that way. Sometimes that arrive dead.

There is no delete function as such for video tape. You just record over it.

I found a bunch of these by searching Amazon for "mini dv cleaner".

Maybe, It doesn't work because the driver you installed. It is for other versions of operating system. I am also using windows 7 like you.Dont worry, You can still use your old installer/driver from other versions of operating systems. Before you installing any program in a windows 7 Operating System Computer, Use "troubleshoot compatibility". Right Click the Icon of your program installer first, then choose "troubleshoot compatiblity". This will allow you to choose on what type operating system your program will run. Just reply back if it still doesn't work.:D

Hi, Please charge your battery ( with camcoder Off) for at least 1 hour. Then unplug your charger and turn On your camcoder. If it can not turn on, it is apparently you have flat battery and need replacement.

Try setting back to Exposure to EASY and it should work fine.

The tape transport mechanism cannot fully engage the tape to the head. When a tape is inserted, the tape guides have to pull the tape from the cartridge and send it towards the head. There is a sensor in the carriage that activates the transport to perform its' job. When that sensor is not enable, it will just allow the door to close and the tape guides will remain stationary. Basically, it needs to be taken apart and fixed or realigned.
