Unfortunately, if a VAIO is not turning up after a failed BIOS update, the only option is to flash the original BIOS. This is only done at Sony service center.

You need to contact a Sony service center near your area. it get the BIOS flashed.

You could be having a overheating problem, make sure you are not covering any vent holes, especially those on the base of the laptop, the laptop should be placed on a flat hard surface. Your CPU fan could be faulty.

Its usualy better to use the same type(PCxxxx, ddr etcect) and this isnt a problem, its a suggestion
