Hello,
Carefully apply the below recommendation on how to install an oven vent
Venting systems provide a way to clean out oil, steam and cooking
smells from a kitchen. Without a vent, kitchens quickly become coated
in grime from cooking, and cooks might become overwhelmed with heat and
steam. Installing a vent for an oven is a simple task, requiring the
most basic knowledge and tools. Paying attention to electrical safety
is the most important part of this project.
Instructions And Material Needed.

Vent system,Screwdriver,Temporary brace material such as a piece of lumber, or a second set of hands,Tape measure,Drill,Hammer,Electrical staples,Electrical tape
Instruction On How To Installing An Oven Vent
-
Turn
off the electricity to the kitchen from the breaker box. Support the
vent with a piece of lumber. Remove any cabinetry or decorative wood
work from the location. Prepare an opening for duct work.
-
Measure
the vent opening. Using a tape measure, check the length, width and
diagonal measurements twice. This will help you choose an appropriately
sized vent for the location.
-
Install
the vent. Most oven vent systems include a template for measurements
and accurate placement of support brackets. Place your template, and
mark the proper locations for screws and brackets. Using a piece of
lumber, or the assistance of a second person, brace the vent into its
location. Check to make sure the ducts align before you screw anything
into place. Using your drill, screw the vent into the location, leaving
it slightly loose.
-
Connect
the wiring. The instructions or template for the vent system will
indicate how to properly connect the wiring. Connect the wires, and
secure them with either electrical bolts or electrical tape. Tuck the
wires into the compartment in the back of your venting unit to avoid
damage to the electrical system.
-
Test
your vent. Turn on the electricity from the breaker. Run a test cycle
on the vent. Listen for any strange sounds, or faltering in the
electrical system, which could indicate a problem.
-
Complete
the bracketing. Using your drill or screwdriver, tighten the screws in
the support brackets completely. There should be no amount of play in
the movement of the vent on the wall. You can test this by trying to
wiggle or shift the vent on the wall.
Good luck and thanks for using fixya.

Hi,
I have a Magic Chef
No, there is no such thing inside it. This is because the voltages there are so great (over 5000) that even getting closer to the power source unprotected could generate an ark that would kill you instantly. Microwave ovens are the only home appliances that can kill you easily if you mess with them.
In your case the power source has failed and that should either be left to a pro, who has the special equipment needed to test and repair it, or just junk it and get a new one.
Remember, your life is worth more than a few hundred bucks.
Turntable won't turn on my magic chef microwave
You may well find that it just need a new motor. They are normally accessible through an inspection cover on the underside of the microwave.
They are normally a syncronus type of motor with a plastic gear box and the gears shear off. Replace the motor with one of the same rating, speed, size and voltage.
Hope this solves your problem.
My microwave shuts off after it has been cooking
Microwaves have a thermal protection device that cuts out power and prevents the oven from overheating when it gets very hot (burning hot). If it (or some other part) is malfunctioning, it is likely that the oven needs to be serviced.
Replacing the thermal protector, may not solve the problem, but if you can feel (or smell) heat coming from your microwave it may simply be the symptom of another component failing.
Remember, while
you can do some repairs on your microwave, what you don't know can kill you...
even on an unplugged microwave, so make sure you understand the dangers and how
to reduce them before you try anything inside a microwave. If you want to
do more yourself, let me know and I will point you in the direction of some
good resources.
