check your overflow level switch wich is located behind front kickplate on right hand side

Which model do you have and is there any fault codes showing on unit? I have all of the service manuels for miele products.I am factory auth. for service on miele.

Check under the sink Miele puts a water flow sensor meter inline with your hot water line to sense the flow and rate to the proper level there is a small catch screen on the inlet side of it. turn off your water to the dishwasher and open the line up and check that screen That would be the first step.

if it is draining and not drainig all the water out I think you can increase your drain time.Also check to see if drain hose has fallen make sure it is tied to under counter top.

When the water stops too soon, it could be the "over flow" is stuck in the downward position, therefore the dishwasher thinks it's going to over flow. Check that out. Otherwise I'm afraid this sounds like the circuit board is shot.

check that you have water supply to the pipe that connects the dishwasher to the wall, when you switch the dishwasher on, dose it buzz quietly, if so there is no water coming to the machine, the fault is with the plumbing, if there is no quiet buzz when switched on then check the water solenoid for open circuit if i have helped please rate me

check no water in the base either by taking front bottom panel off or tilting back. if water runs out, means you have a leak. could also be inlet valve open circuit

Try putting vinegar in the rinse dispenser for a few cycles. Monitor the level of vinegar in the dispenser and see if it goes back to normal consumption.
