I have just had the same problem. Dishwasher on as normal, no water going in-EEEEk, did everything the manual said to clean drain pump and non return value, no change. Then I read answer above from wcredentino and low and behold, dishwasher immediately started and no call to service man tomorrow- yay, thanks 'wcredtino' However, for me, holding both buttons at once didn't work, reset occurred when I held the on/off switch down for 5 seconds- when I held it down with the start/stop button the problem persisted.

The Miele G5300sc Error F51 usually relates to the Heater Pressure Switch. Remedy: Replace the heater relay or heater pressure switch.

You have a piece of debris stuck in the impeller of the pump. Food, glass etc. Remove the screen bottom of the tub and clean. Might need to shop vac it, or remove the pump to get the debris out

Unplug for a minimum of 5 mins, whilst waiting check there are no blockages in the spinners & water spray points & on the back of the draws where they connect to the water pipes at the back that they are not blocked or full of grease, then plug back in, pu it through a cleaning cycle whilst empty of all dishes, if no joy, hold down the on/off button a while until it bleeps & flashes leave for 2 mins this will force the pcb to reboot, then unplug again for a further 5 mins & then plug in & try again, if this doesn't work then I'm afraid it's an engineer visit, hope this helps
