There can be many reasons why your dryer will not start or turn...

have you tried disconnecting the power for about 15 minutes to see if it clears
anti crease refers to the dryer continuing to tublme for about 10-15 seconds every 5-10 minutes so when cycle is complete the clothing doesnt just set there where wrinkles can set in ,it tumbles after end of cycle to prevent wrinkling

This smell usually is a washing machine issue. Run a washing machine cleaner through on a monthly basis and the smell will be gone.

If you haven't already, check your limit switches. One of them may have weakened over time and could be prematurely shutting the heat down. These little automatic switches are located close to the burner and blower housing, they usually have two wires going to them, and they are just a little bigger than the size of a quarter. You may have two. Be sure to unplug the dryer first. Hope this helps you. They are fairly cheap to replace.

If you are having problems with your gas dryer not heating the most common problem is that the ignitor goes bad. Even though it glows sometimes it is still not working properly.

The clip on the door is just been used to much, using a small flat head, (if the clip is metal only) you can twist and expand the eye of the clip, if it's plastic and looped you can stick toothpicks and use em as shims to expand the hole. usually the eye has been crimped shut not letting the clamps grab and the wet clothes knock the door open shutting the dryer off. Usually when you got a date or big job promo soon and you were not there to notice the flaw and you find your clothes still soaked ten minutes from the time you were gonna go. LOL

Probably the plug end. Take it and see if you can wiggle any of the prongs. Even a little bit. If so it is probably black there already. if so replace it or the cord. If not start checking the cord where it connects to the dryer and follow the wires from there

check the exhaust hose. it sounds like it has separated from the outlet and is spilling the hot exhaust into the room rather than through the vent outside

ceskypavel - I'm in the middle of reversing the door on my Miele T1520 dryer. I think I've got it figured out, but I need to put it all back together to be sure it works. I will post my instructions if I'm successful. Regards, voget
