May be this sound crazy, but helpful to me in many cases. Unplug all easily detachable parts and press turn On key for 20 to 30 seconds. Again resemble it and try to turn on. Don't try again and again,,, if not running well protection circuit will turn off. therefore test for short circuit, need to remove unwanted parts and try, also need to test the circuit for short circuit with multi meter.specially mosfets need to check.

it just happened to me it got over hearted and the fan in it is brunt wich make the noice u have to get a new one

My suggestion would be to unplug the cord from the connection on the computer, then remove the battery. After you've done that, press and hold the On/Off switch for about 60 seconds, then, after you've done that connect everything back together, and see if it will reboot. If not, check the hard drive, and the ram and make sure they are all connected tightly.

also under processes see what is ticking over in the background you might have a virus again if you see something you

dont need to be and users you will see who is using your computer

you might need to add more computer ram

you should always ask for a guarantee on the compatibility of the ram before making any purchase

might be getting hot

Take the battery out, plug in the charger and see if the laptop works.

If it works, the battery may be the problem.

Check the AC AdapterCheck to make sure the adapter is plugged securely into the wall outlet, connected firmly to the adapter box and to the back of your laptop.

Most AC adapters have a little light in them on that rectangular box in the middle of the cord that lights up when it's getting electricity.

If that light isn't on, try a different outlet.

You need a new battery.

I have the same model with the same symptoms in for repair. This is a motherboard issue and requires a reflow of the GPU and chipset. It has nothing to do with the LCD because the buttons don't react when the laptop is "turned on". The touchpad turn on/off button does not react when pressed, the same is with the wifi, volume and mute buttons.
The problem is in a poor solder and a cracked/oxidized contacts due to heat buildup.

I would try the following steps, then contact HP (if these don't work, chances are it's hardware related).
1) Remove the battery and power cable. 2) Hold down the power button for 3 seconds. 3) Reattach the power cable and battery. 4) Try to boot again.

You may have a heat problem.
When the CPU overheats then it will shutdown (i.e. thermal overload) and won't boot up again until it has cooled down.If this is the problem is not fixed then the CPU will eventually fail.
A faulty fan causes the problem or the fan and heat sink assembly are cloggedwith dust.
Check the CPU fan to see if it spins freely, if not replace the fan. If the fan and heat sink is clogged withdust the remove the dust and make sure the vents are clear and dust free. Use acan of compressed air to do this.

I had a similar though somewhat different problem. My zd7000 was plugged in but it was oscillating between charging the battery and running from the battery. In the past I'd adjust the jack position and life was good - this time nothing mattered. I turned the laptop off and noticed that the charge light came on and stayed on - I guessed something was freaky with the battery so I switched to my spare - the charger light came on, I turned on the power I had a brief power on followed by zzzzttt then everything died. I could smell the stench of electrical burning. I disassemble the whole laptop and removed the motherboard - the back of the power jack is burned. A new jack is $10.

If I had to guess, I"d guess you have a bad jack. I've seen offers to repair this on the net for $100. If the offer is legit, I'd rather pay the bucks - theres only 5 billion screws in the laptop - plus the risk of static discharge damaging to boards or the pain of getting the processor heat sink out without damaging the processor and then getting heat conducting "grease" between the processor and the heat sink when you put it all back together again. I figured my unit was dead anyway, might as well see if I could find the issue. Now I need to get a new jack - and see if I can get it all back together again...

Let me give you an advice that you can try out.
It is possible that your processor is over-heating, maybe because of your environment, possibly because the air-vent is blocked, or because the fan is not cooling the processor properly again.
Therefore my suggestion would be for you to unscrew your laptop (If you can do it by yourself), and try to clean, or better still replace your processor fan.
Also clean the air-vent where air is supposed to enter the laptop If you cant do it by yourself, you can easily get a technician to do it for you.
Also, remove all your RAM(Memory Sticks), and clean the tip of the connector with an eraser, and re-insert it one after the other.
That is, if you have two of them, after you insert the first one, put on your system and see if it works, then do the same thing with the other one.
If the two of them works, them insert the them all. but if it is just one that worked, just remove the other one that is not working and replace it.
If the two of them are not working, then try to get a RAM of the same type to test it with, either from a friend or a technician.
Then always make sure that your laptop is in a well ventilated, cool environment and that the environment is free from dusts.

First of all, disconnect your battery from back of the

laptop, then try and get a friend or a technician that

uses the same type of laptop, and try to swap the

battery just to check whether it works and charges

it properly. Also do the same thing with the

Adapter/Charger and charge it with it.

This is because, there are two diagnostic possibilities

here:

1.) It is either the battery that you bought is not good

and you need to return it quickly before its too late

or;

2.) The charger that you are using is bad, or not

supplying enough current to charge the battery

cells...and this might even damage the battery after

a while, or make the battery not to charge to its full

capacity and as well discharge quickly.

Try this out and let me know how it goes.
