That\'s what\'s know as coil heat soak. Inside a transistorized coil pack which is what you have that makes the spark happen, there is a small circuit board with diodes and stuff. Sometimes one will go bad from time or use, usually hard use, and when it fails, the engine will run a while then reaching a certain temperature, the diode will kill the coil as if you had hit the kills witch and stop the spark. The aluminum of the engine dissipates heat quickly which is a reason why engines are made with that material, and thus will restart after a few minutes as if nothing happened. You need to replace the coil. There is something further, if the breather built into the gas cap or gas tank gets clogged or becomes inoperable, the vacuum created by the fuel system that allows the fuel to continuously be sucked into the carb and engine will have no way to replace the negative space created by the missing fuel in the tank with air, so it will essentially choke itself to death and the engine will shut off and not start until you open the gas cap and let in some pressure to equalize the vacuum. But that\'s slow and you can feel it happening like the machine is running out of fuel, the heat soaked coil is immediate just like switching the I/O button which is basically what\'s really happening. I would first take the spark plug out and see if the tip is wet, it could very well be flooded. second of all I'd try putting fuel directly into the carb (if this helps you'll most likely need a carb kit or maybe even a new carb)

Hello Ronny I'm not fully familiar with that model however I have found a diagram that may help you. The image is a little small but it may give you an idea of the springs location.

you have to disassemble the pulling mechanism and take the old cord out and replace with a new one. I suggest applying a bit of silicone oil over the new cord.

Will spin or wont spin.? Slight confusion in your question.

Are you resting the head on the floor while strimming and wearing out the bumpcap? Are you hitting it too hard on the floor when you want it to feed out.? Are you using the full harness or the strap harness when using it.? Either way it should be set the the correct length, so the strimmer is just off the floor, i like to have it so the front tilts down, that way it would keep the bumper off the floor. Either way thay should last way longer then 2 weeks so i put it down to opperator error.

Its pawl has either come off the recoil spring or the recoil spring has broken. There are videos on youtube showng you how to repair this fault.

The lines can only go on 2 different ways, if the primer bulb is filling them im guessing its the corrrect way. However your friend may have tried adjusting the carb before he gave it to you. I'd be looking at carb settings or a sticking needle.

I can assure you it wont be leaking oil, as the only oil it uses is mixed with the fuel.Lock throttle trigger on,Start on full choke till it fires, Switch to half choke and it should fire up on high revs,Blip the throttle and it should turn to tick over.If it still keeps cutting out it could point to a carb or fuel takn issue.
