you need to find what stopped the head. Did debris wrap around the head / shaft and stop it or did the clutch fail. Try to remove the trimmer head and determine if the drive shaft is spinning.

Could be a couple of things, Make sure your muffler is clean and clear. Have compressions checked should be 125 -140 lbs/in also, check airfilter and fuel lines and filter.

Check the exhaust isnt blocked, they contain a gauze which can degrade and cause problems with the exhaust gas flow.

dies the unit turn over without starter on? are dogs on flywheel free?

Are you sure its the coil.? Have you tried relesing the fuel cap and trying it again.? Could possibly the fuel tank vent, creating vaccum in the tank and starving the engine.

Have you replaced the primer bulb 'base'.?

Push the wire all the way through the HT cap.you may need to use pliers to pull it through, Then use the pliers to pinch the wire spike into the cable, use a little oil on the cable to help it slide back through.
