Why don't you just print the data on the one side of the page and then simply turn the page over and reinsert it into the paper feeder and then print the next bit of data, therfore you end up with both sides of the page printed without worrying about printer commands that seem to fail.

I read the question. However, as you cannot see the error message, it is practically impossible to diagnose the problem. Regarding the spare parts, there are many options and ways to get that. However, first of all we need to know the exact error message. There are many different errors and it is not a wise option to keep swapping or replacing parts.

There are many problems that needs repair and is advisable that you should replace printer than repair it. Even if you spend many bucks on repairing the printer so that you could read the message ( obviously as few lines are missing, this is indicative of hardware fault ).

If you want parts, you could buy a non working printer ( same model - used ) from :-

As i mentioned you could try swapping, however it would be a gamble.

Let me know,if needed further assistance.

Hope i helped you.

Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

Hi. Try to reseat the cartridge and reinstall the driver of your printer.

Hi! Please try this... Remove the cartridges and shake them a bit. They may need to be shaked before installation. After installing the cartridges please run CLEANING. Cleaning process sips the ink from the cartridge. Try it and see how it goes. Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa!

Please check the cartridge, the ink is there or not. If the ink is there please check the printer properties and check the color settings.

Hi there maximum time we found it is a the head problem. The print head is what the cartridges sit in inside of the printer. For resolve the problem please follow these.

Open the printer and wait for the carriage to slide over. Some how if its not come then Unplug the printer & Manually slide the carriage.
Now Remove the ink cartridges from the print head & Use wet warm cotton swab or use alcohol to thoroughly clean the print head.
Repeat this until there is no ink residue coming off on the cotton swab. After finished it make the head dry then fix it back. Now Try to print something now

If that does not work then follow the next step.

Remove the printer data cable & restart the PC & printer. Then fit back the data cable & turn on the printer. Hope that's start working , if no luck then Uninstall the printer driver & restart the PC & Printer both again. Now install the driver of the printer and connect it with PC ,Turn on printer & go for a test print from the printer preference. Thanks & waiting for your reply.

Unplug the printer and then plug it back in, did you take off the plastic on the new printer cartridge before you installed it.?

I would bet you have it setup to print a seperator page between jobs. On your printer properties click on the advanced tab and then the seperator button, make sure it is cleared or not selected. Also make sure the program you are printing from doesn't insert a seperator page.

There are a few other things that can cause this. Such as a word processor having a page break or new page command before the text. These are hidden so you don;t see them but you get a blank then the text.

And once in a while it may be the driver isn't quite the correct one. Make sure it is current and the one for your model. On one printer the driver that behaved was the old original one but none of the newer ones downloaded from the company.

Anyway that has been what I have run across that will cause this.
