I'm not sure, but I think I understand that you're connecting using a USB hub? If so, try connecting it directly to a USB port. Many times an unpowered USB hub does not supply enough power to run a laser printer. Unhook the printer. Go to Printers and Faxes - delete the printer. Hook up directly to a USB port. Let the computer re-install the printer. Let me know Ed

Check in the OPC (Drum), no contact ground with pin.

how did u find it ,that it has phisically damaged?

did they change the board correctly?

go to the printer properties and check the paper size you are using. It should be set to a4 and it will recognise that size paper . make it a default setting.

It is not exactly very easy to get to that area. I found some service information at the HP site. Here is the link to it.

Select course #23875 then under the 1020 select service and then paper pickoff assembly. It gives you a visual course on how to go about opening up the printer to get to that area.
