Calibrate Now
Use the following procedure to calibrate the printer whenever you replace the DC controller,
the formatter, the color misregistration sensor (PS12), the transfer unit, or the laser/scanner.
1. Press to enter the MENUS.
2. Press to highlight configure device.
3. Press to select configure device.
4. Press to highlight PRINT quality.
5. Press to select PRINT quality.
6. Press to highlight CALIBRATE NOW.
7. Press to select CALIBRATE NOW.
8. Wait for the printer to calibrate.

Kindly Open and close the front door.
Check wether your cartridge is properly mounted.

50.X FUSER ERROR Description A fuser error has occurred. Action

1. Turn the printer off.
2. Verify the fuser is properly installed and fully seated.
3. Turn on the printer.
4. If the message persists, contact HP Support.

Replacing the transfer unit
Replace the transfer unit when the printer control panel displays REPLACE TRANSFER
KIT. The image transfer kit contains a replacement transfer unit for this printer.
WARNING! Remove any jewelry or any other metal items from your body to avoid electric shock.

1. Lift the front door handle and pull down the front door.
2. Grasp the right blue handle. Press and hold down the blue button. Slightly lift the right
side of the transfer unit.
3. Grasp the left blue handle and lift to remove the transfer unit from the printer.
4. Using handles, remove the new transfer unit from the bag. Use the blue handles on both
sides to hold the transfer unit.
5. Place the new transfer unit on a flat surface. Remove the orange shipping locks.
6. Guide the left side of the transfer unit into the front door of the printer. Insert the two
pegs on the left side into the holes, and then lower the right side into the door.
7. Make sure that the blue button on the right blue handle has released (popped up). If the
button has not released, grasp the right blue handle and pull the transfer unit toward you.
8. Firmly close the front door.
9. After the front door is closed, after a short time, the printer control panel displays the
message NEW TRANSFER KIT.
10. If the message NEW TRANSFER KIT does not appear, you must reset the transfer unit
count. To reset the transfer unit count, go to step 11.
11. On the printer control panel, press to highlight YES, and then press to select it. The
transfer unit count is reset, the printer recalibrates, and then the printer is ready to use.
NOTE If the old transfer unit was not at end-of-life when it was replaced (for example, if it was
damaged), the transfer unit count must be reset using the printer control panel.
Replacing the transfer unit when it is not at end-of-life
If you replace the transfer unit when it is not at the end-of-life, for instance if it is defective,
you will need to reset the transfer unit count and then calibrate the printer, through the
control panel.


To reset the transfer unit count, do the following:

1. Press MENU to enter the MENUS.
2. Press to highlight Configure Device.
3. Press to select Configure Device.
4. Press to highlight RESETS.
5. Press to select RESETS.
6. Press to highlight RESET SUPPLIES.
7. Press to select RESET SUPPLIES.
8. Press to highlight NEW TRANSFER KIT.
9. Press to select NEW TRANSFER KIT.
10. Press to highlight YES.
11. Press to select YES.
To calibrate the printer, do the following:
1. Press MENU to enter the MENUS.
2. Press to highlight Configure Device.
3. Press to select Configure Device.
4. Press to highlight PRINT QUALITY.
5. Press to select PRINT QUALITY.
6. Press to highlight CALIBRATE NOW.
7. Press to select CALIBRATE NOW.
8. Wait for the printer to calibrate.
The transfer unit count is reset and the printer is ready to use.

The pickup rollers are worn out. Replace them and your problem will be gone. While you are sourcing them, use some alcohol. This may give them a little more life.

here are the codes for the error you are getting

10.92.00 Black toner
10.92.01 Cyan
10.92.02 Magenta
10.92.03 Yellow

The fix is either the toner lock is broken. Contacts on the left side of printer are damaged.

There is a complete proceedure for replacing the the toner locks which comes in a kit you can order from precisionroller.com. this takes about an hour.

If the contacts are damaged you will have to replace the whole plastic part on the left side behind all of the electronics. It takes about an hour

if you can manage then do it otherwise show it to technician.

Thhis error is usually due to a dirty photcell (sensor) in the tray 2 paper feed assembly or a broken sensor flag in the same assembly. Start be removing all cartridges and the transfer belt. Look in the bottom of the printer below the lowest cartridge slot for a removeable cover. That's the area your problem is probably in. I had a like problem and found that the chip on the cartridge was mounted without enough spacer such that contact was not being made with the memory controller PCB connector.  I cut some two-sided tape and put it behind the chip such that it stuck out further so that better contact could be made and the problem was solved.  

I think the fuser is in your **** part. This problem can be corrected by sitting in a tub of salt water. Make sure the printer is plugged in and is powered on. Is the display lit? If it is place the printer in the tub of water you are sitting in. You sould now be able to realize nobody cares and it no longer matters

The fuser is not warming up replace fuser.

the sensor switch will need to be retrieved and reinstalled in the original position. If it is defective or broken then it will need to be replaced. there are specialized tools for retrieving parts inside mechanisms. remove power first. Or call a trained technician.
