Error 0.000000 aa

Error 0.000000 aa does not exist within HP Service manual, this said I have come across a few errors that dont exist, I would ask If the machine Sounds like its trying to come to ready ( eg can you hear the engine motors turning, does the fuser get warm, if so I would recommend you change the display As it could be a spurious error from the display module -or in the case the machine immediately displays the message without any motors turning or no heating of the fuser rollers , then I would recommend you start by replacing the firmware then the memory , finally the formatter in that order. hope this helps

Can't seem to get the 8150DN to be recognized by

probably you disabled some thing during the process...First reset the printer to the factory defaults...than if you try to connect it on other plug but USB ..get into the BIOS setting of the computer (by pressing the del on start for desktop or ...F2 for laptop ...soon after you power it on ...for HP laptop and desktop you have to press f10 to get into Bios settings
IN there look for some feature called factory optimal defaults..and engage it ...confirm with enter ..and after that press F10 to save the changes..and enter to confirm and exit..
This will enable any functions that might been shut down or disabled by previous trials..
If it is on USB ..make sure it is reset to factory settings ..and after that run the add new hardware wizard from the control panel and let it find the printer ...when it is found ..insert the disk and run the driver ..or run the driver first and after that connect the printer and if it do not react run the wizard..
With the printer connected you can also get into the device manager (by click right on the My computer ..than properties ,and hardware ....device manager ...) , and in there click right on computer ..and choose to scan for hardware changes...(be sure the printer is connected..) this should make it visible ..if it is disabled..

Trying to setup tcp/ip settings on my hp laserjet

First, make sure your Network Interface is working properly. Print a test-page. Menu--->Information------->Print configuration-page. If your machine print only one page, your interface doesn't work right. If your machine prints a configpage and a seperate network-page, you're good to go.

The easiest way is to look at the network-page and see if the machine already got a ip-adress. If it already got a ip-adress (DHCP), type that adress into your favorite web browser and do your config from the machine's web-interface.

Or you can access the printers menu.
Menu---->I/U---->EIOx settings---->TCP/IP----> and set your settings as you wish. Good luck.

I changed the toner on my HP8150dn and now there

if there was no band appearing with the old cartridge which you replaced.then its the problem in the new cartridge which you installed.but if there is band in both the cartridges.then its not the cartridge fault.its the problem of either there is some toner powder got leaked and stuck up on the rollers of the printer from where the paper passes.so this roller needs cleaning.you can also use dry tissue paper to clean the internal seen rollers.but if the rollers are clean then its the problem of internal lens which reads the print copies.actually a light ray glows in the printer when you give a copy or a print command.that light ray passes through the thin glass lens but if the lens is having the dust got formed on it then the copies get bit dark where the dust is got collected.as nothing gets readed.so if lens is the problem then printer needs to be disassembled. --------- but one more thing if you have not replaced the print cartridge but got refilled then replace it with new cartridge and check out.also in the cartridge there is a aluminium drum if some thing got stuck up on that drum this can be also the problem for black band at top.
------------------- if not familiar with disassembling the local printer repair tech familiar with this printer/copier is advisable. ----------- This will help. Thanks please keep updated.please do rate the solution positively .thank you for using fixya.
