You may be able to download a Windows 7 printer driver for your model printer from the HP WEB site.
If there is not one available, then HP considers this printer too old or not compatible with Windows 7 and they want you to upgrade your printer.
You can download the HP printer drivers from their supportWEB site. Please click on this link and select your model printer to download:- http://welcome.hp.com/country/us/en/support.html

Clean print heads

I suggest uninstalling the printer, restarting and reinstalling, meanwhile disconnect the printer from the computer and the power. If the printer still doesn't behave after it has been disconnected half an hour or so it is probably faulty, or the new cartridge might be faulty. My HP printer has a cartridge priming option that must be used after it has been idle for a while or a new cartridge fitted.

Hi there, my name is Lisa and I'd be happy to help. I have checked the specifications for the Officejet 7210, and from what I can see, 9x4 envelope printing is not supported. Printer does not print. Display shows "printing" and "on" button is blinking all the time.

What does printers troubleshooting softwere (included in installation cd) say? If you cannot communicate by WiFi, you will need to connect by USB cable.

Error 322 How to fix it?

There was a communication error with the receiving fax machine due to poor telephone line conditions. Solution
  • Set the receiving machine to receive at a slower transmission speed
  • If the session fails after sending several pages of a large document, resend the document as several smaller documents.
  • Retry the fax reception at a different time when telephone line conditions have improved. Call the telephone provider if line conditions fail to improve.

HP Officejet 7210 Is Very Very Slow (10 mins / page printing)

And I have exactly the same problem too that has happened in the last few weeks.

I've tried reinstalling the software/drivers and resetting the printer to factory settings but no joy. An upgrade either windows or HP must have caused this!

Will not copy

This means one of the cartridges is defective, they cant align if they cant print. What i did to fix this problem is insert 2 working cartridges and get it to align properly, even if they are low on ink, then lift the cover and the cartridges will move to the center. When this happens pull the power cable out, then insert the full non functioning cartridge. Plug the power cable back in. I tried this with a color cartridge, the color cartridge was non functioning but i was able to print in black. Basically you align the cartridges and then swap them so the printer thinks they are still aligned. The color still doesnt work and it is probably a defective color cartridge.

Paper size error when copying - Office jet 7210

I got the same error, and had it for months. open the ink door where it says office jet pro, it folds towards you, wait for the ink cartage to position to the left, then look inside and far to the right, and see if there is a wadded up peace of paper inside. Reach in and pull it out, it fixes the problem

Print carriage jammed

I had a "carriage jam" error message.

My son wiped down the metalic strip that tells the carriage where it is. It worked for a couple of days and then the "carriage jam" message came back.

I took my 7210 apart, found nothing wrong with it and put it back together. I noticed that if I pushed the print carriage all the way to the left, closed the lid, and pressed "OK", the print carriage would move a couple of inches to the right. It did this repeatedly. I figured the motor was working, but there was too much friction on the carriage. I put some 3-in-one oil on my finger and put a thin coat on the front, top, and back of the rod that the print carriage rides on. I then ran the carriage back and forth about 20 times. I closed the lid and it works fine.

I had the same problem with my DVD player. The head was hanging up on the two chrome plated rods that supported the head. I put some 3-in-one oil on the rods, ran the head back and forth, and it has worked ever since.

Hp officejet 7210 error code 0XC0620004 and

Hi,

in the case of error, the first thing to do is to reset the printer. Follow the below steps to reset the printer:

Without turning off the product, disconnect the USB cable from the rear of the product.
Remove the cartridges from the product.
Wait for the 'Insert Cartridges ' message to display on the control panel.
Disconnect the power cord from the back of the product.
Wait 60 seconds.
Reconnect the power cord. If the product does not automatically turn on, press the Power button.
Reinsert the cartridges, and then close any open doors on the product.
If you receive a prompt to print a calibration page, do so.
Reconnect the USB cable to the rear of the product, and then try printing again.

Or, completely uninstall the printer from the system, re-install it, then try again. I hope you have the printer's software.

First, go to Start > control panel > printers.

Right click on each printer icon you see, scroll to delete and click. Make sure all the printer there are deleted.

Go back to control panel, click on program and features (for windows vista/7) or Add/Remove Programs (win xp).

Disconnect the printer cord from the computer.

Uninstall every driver/software that is associated with the printer.

Restart your computer.

After your computer has been restarted, install the printer driver afresh and connect the printer to the computer.

If this doesn't solve the problem, you will have to download Hp diagnostic utility on your your computer, install is on your computer and it will help to detect and solve the problem.

Visit the hp link below, read all the information on the page and download the diagnostic tool from the page.

I have an HP Officejet

Hi

Black is not True black. It is slightly brown.

Printing in black uses mainly black but may also a tiny amount of a mixture of some of the other colours.

To minimize the usage of other colours:

HP Solution Center > Settings > Print Settings > Printer Settings > Color > tick Black Print Cartridge Only > OK.

HP ink can be expensive. It is possible to economize on HP inks in some cartridge formats by using Ink refill kits.

I hope this helps.
