HP 75 tricolor cartridge is not designed for PSC 2355.If you try to install it,you'll get a message incompatible ink cartridge or cartridge problem.using a different cartridge may also damage the chip embedded in the printer.do not use hp 75 as a replacement for hp 95.

steps:

• select the operating system and click on next
• download and save the full feature software and drivers so you can also use the scanner feature of the printer
• run the software when download is complete

No setting would do that - the error is generated because the photo paper is more slippery than what the rollers can handle so they skid and the difference in their rotation triggers the jam warning message.
Just use a different brand of paper, less glossy.

Hi there..regarding with that error message..it is something to deal with the print mechanism of your psc printer..and i believed that the carriage of it (the one that is holding the ink cartridges) is not removable. most of the time if that error message pops up then it is a printer general error or in other words it is a hardware failure..

It's not saying carTridge jam, it's saying CARRIAGE jam. Something is stuck under the heads.
unplug the power from the unit, and try to manually move the heads off to the left side, checking for paper under the head as you move it over.
Check the head docking area on the right as well.
Plug the unit back in and everything should be fine once everything is cleaned out.

In most cases the printer driver software can have errors while being in use or is shut down. So to reset remove your printer from the PC and uninstall the printer software. Now reinstall the printer software and then connect the Printer to be detected as a new hardware as it will be installed. Now check the printer properties to see the ink levels.
Activate head cleaning before a test is taken . Sometimes it is possible that the head is not reacting to the need of the PC command or can be an issue with ink drying or poor ink cartridge contacts.

Honestly speaking I don't know what's causing it, but I sure do know how to get it fixed. Check out the steps below.

1. Open the top cover of the printer.
2. Slide the cartridge carrier all the way to the left, and then all the way to the right.
3. After doing that, reseat both of the printer cartridges.
4. Then pressed the power button again.

You must be using HP94 95
Have you refill your cartridge at all? If you did, gentely wipe out the cartridge circuit part with Q-tip (with bit of alcohol). And wipe out the circuit part in the printer where cartridge goes in as well. And try back. Sometimes by having some dust or bit of ink make cartridge unreadable. If you used brand new, do same thing to cartridge circuit part. Otherwise, there got to be some circuit shot happen in printer. For your reference, HP 2355 is not a new model and has not cause major problem. Good practical and durability is good. If you would like to save money, try refill kit by "ROADINK". Not only they are easy, but also the printing quality is good. For your better understanding pls check out my youtube video. And will see how easy ink refill can be done.

Memory for fax? or R u try to reset your printer? Pls pint point your purpose and diagnose...... This printer has been out quit long time ago, which means u do not need to reset for using refilled cartridge or some other use. If you would like to save money, try refill kit by "ROADINK". (If you can somehow read the mid european language, it will be better to perform the below steps) On the printer panel, press "Setup" button, Press "7", again press "1", now you'll see the "Preferences" menu, now use the "up"-"down" button, locate "Set Language & Country Region" and select it by pressing the "Ok" button. If you can't read the language at all, it should be the longest word in the preferences menu. Once the "Set Language & Country Region" is selected, you'll see lists of available countries' names, Select whatever you like but only one will be selectable, (Note: Select means pressing "Ok"), you'll be prompted to confirm the changes, press "1" for "Yes" and press "2" for "No". Once it's done, you can find the country by entering the country code, just enter the first two digits of the country code.. or you can simply scroll down the lists using the "up" - "down" button on the printer, select when you've found it (eg.. United States).
