Have HP OfficeJet 7310, when I print I get 3 individual popups about the toner which has been replaced within the last few weeks.

Print count will calculate approx ink usage, not in days. If you are sure these cartridges are not refilled one, your usage is high..Pl check cartridges yield in hp site to understand how many prints you will get for each.

HP officejet 7310- have a 'new' encoder strip but

Hp considers these to be "disposable" units and does not make or release service guides at all. If you are adventurous though, the key to disassembling these models is by removing the top. If you can figure out that much, the rest is pretty easily accomplished by a torx 10 screwdriver and a bit of patience. I have read that there are two plastic covers on the front sides that hide some secret screws, and they can be pried off with a flathead with ease.

I got into my 7410 only by breaking the plastic hinges that are attached to the scanner top and spring loaded to the case to prop up the scanner assembly. Once I could get the scanner at a 90 degree angle I was able to remove the top and get at all the necessary screws.

There is a small piece of black plastic on the back of the carriage - it has a "slot" that the encoder will fit, and it should not touch or be pushed out of alignment by the carriage when installed correctly. The slot will ride on either side of the strip with the carriage to detect its position

If you can find the key to removing the scanner from the springs which are attached to the plastic, please share as I have yet to find the solution for this in several years. I just broke the plastic and expoxied it after reassembly without the spring-loaded action since it doesn't actually have any bearing on actual functions of the machine,

Good luck..

It wont print in color

Inkjet printers need to be used frequently to prevent inkdrying out in the print head nozzles. If the print head cleaning maintenance routine does not clear the blockages, then print head needs replacing, but it may be expensive. It may be more cost effective to buy a later model and better printer thanreplace the print head.

Hi my printer doesn't pull

My HP OfficeJet 7310 behaved correctly on the automatice paper feed for a long time and then began to be unable to pick up the page or would grab 2 or 3 pages at once. I was about to spend the $$$ to replace it, maybe $400 at that time. Instead I watched it work again and angin or not work. Noice the 1 inch square piece of cork? I went to Hobby Lobby and for less than $2 bought a roll of very thin cork. I cut an inch square and replaced the one on the machine and it has worked perfectly since. I still have 99% of the cork roll. What it?

Everything is working just fine except the margin

Hello and Welcome to FixYa!Sir, If there is a problem of margin in printing and except it everything is working fine then this not seems to be the problem of printer, its the issue of the file format, You have to check the settings of the programs which you are using for files printing like if you are using Microsoft Word and you have to print the document of Microsoft Word the check the Margin Settings of Microsoft Word,By Decreasing the width of the file you can bring it in correct format and then printer will not miss the left and right margin.I hope this solution helps you and you have clear picture in your mind nowLet me know if you have any confusion in your mind.Sir, Your Rating as FIVE Stars for this solution and words of appreciation will be esteemedThank You for taking my service Concerned: Muhammad Uzair Team : FixYa

I have a 7300/7400 HP Office Jet printer....keeps giving false alarms on paper jam. I have done everything the book says. The print cartridges do not return to the right. I love this printer and

there are a few sensors in the paper circuit. if those sensors have some small pieces of paper you will continue to get this error. If you have serious mechanical skills you can try to disassemble the printer and clean every sensor. if not you should go to a specialized service center.
