HP OfficeJet 7310 All-In-One InkJet Printer - Page 3 Questions & Answers
All of my copies and scans have a yellow
You might be scanning and copying in full color even for regular documents. When you do this, it treats the document as a photograph or color document and therefore, the background, even if white, is scanned in as a bit yellow
The printer doesn't recognize the new original HP color cartridge
There is a small spring that holds the ink cartridge in the ink holder.
You will see it stick out from the right hand side of the ink holder
where the ink cartridge slides in. If that spring isn't being held to
the ink holder by two plastic tabs, (I.E. the plastic tabs are broken)
the printer will never recognize the cartridge. If the printer is still
under warranty I would contact HP or an authorized repair center for
HP. Both the black and color ink holder has this spring. I know of no
way to repair this kind of breakage.
Incoming fax error paper miss match
Based on the machine you have a single tray (not including the manual feed tray) either the document being faxed is legal and you have letter sized paper or in the machine or the Paper handling options on the machine need to be corrected. I would contact the person sending the documents to confirm what Type of paper they are faxing. Letter, Legal, A4 etc..
If you hit the menu button go to paper handling and see what your settings are to confirm they are set correctly, just to make sure your machine is not causing the problem.
