Return the microwave oven, once you open it up warranty will be voided. The standard coverage is one year, besides if fuse is blown it indicates a much bigger problem that could end up costing an arm and a leg.

The main fuse in the microwave oven has probably blown, it usually goes when a part has failed.

It is possible, but you heard a similar bang earlier, from the description the magnetron is arcing on a occassion because it is failing, or there is bare metal exposed on the interior. I would recommend getting it checked out to make sure there is no safety hazard and have it resolved.

The fan is critical in keeping the magnetron cool, possible causes are! defective door switch, bad motor, or no B+ getting to the fan.

The door switch does sound more likely, and is a good place to start. These switches are well known to be intermittent at times.

It is caused by a defective magnetron, or the inverter board, "if 7 years old or less"
