hp dv4-1430us, CCFL are all dead now.no USB devices, nor CD tray full.Rule #1 no 14 year old battery good here. ever.the big one (drops out) and the coin cell are dead.the latter can not be ignored dead ever. if you let it die BIOS GOES NUTS (mad) acts dead or lies to you.BIOS needs a good coin cell, or goes to CHAOS.end bad batteries now. step 1 on all laptops on earth is, remove the big battery and see if it runs on AC power pack only (even forever if not mobile used) so splash screen and bios is dead still.step2 hold the power button down for 10 seconds and release. screen works now,? if not do that 1 more time, 10 seconds and release. ok the screen is still dead. so now point a flash light to the screen (dim room) power on PC again same way do you see data now, yes, 'the CCFL lamps are dead. I assume the brightness key is UP.Fn key. there are 20 more parts to fail and cause this. (shorted) the Nivida chip does not REMOVE ever and worse,, omgNOR IS NVIDIA chip there at all, hark.!

(oops)and lots of shorted modules inside. I posted this 100 of times, on on HP DV PCs posted here.and they are are all , mostly dead. 14 years old, CCFL are deadand there is no NVIDIA here period!@ or a broken jack at PC rear, 19vdc jack cracked, inside or outside.fails all tests, above.jack bad.do not attempt to flash the bios on any sick PC like this dead.you will brick it , do not listen to youtube kiddies.tell how far you get and we can go farther. ask, for the steps. 6.jpg">
