Miele H147-2mb not heat when microwave other function OK

Check the door safety interlock switch. More than 90% of problems like this are due to failed safety switch. Switch fails because people open the door when the oven is operating.

Hi, our Miele Classic H147-2MB,

Hi - it can be repaired - there are a few things that may have gone AWOL with the machine - there is the Magnetron (specially made), the door interlock, HV transformer, HV diode.

The only way is to have it inspected and the above components tested for failure - it could any of these or a combination of two - there is a control fuse also which is likely to be blown as well. The magnetron would be the expensive component and Miele units are unque design where other brands would not be compatible.

Hi, our Miele microwave doesnt

Hi - the most likely problem is the HV Diode or the Magnetron, other possible one is the capacitor & door interlock, its counting down so the interlock has to be ok.

The control fuse (8A) is likely to have blown and if its the case then the magnetron unit is highly likely to be the cause. The HV Diode can be tested with a Insulation tester conducts one way only, more accurate than a multi meter to see if this has blown as well. One other component is HV fuse has a white casing fixed between the high voltage transformer windings - u wont miss this one.

Then again perhaps a serviceman is your best option - be prepared for the cost of repairs.

Is Perfect clean Finish not perfect?!!!! How do I clean it to get rid of the cooked in pots in the texture?

When cool, I use a barbeque grille cleaner and that works well. Any maker is fine. Clean it off when rubbed in with a gentle non stick semi abrasive sponge, as it can burn into the coatings. Always cover your cooking to avoid splashes that can become troublesome to remove.

Miele M 625 EG Microwave Oven

A malfunctioning control panel or membrane can cause erratic behavior in your microwave oven. If the control panel is not registering the start command correctly, it may interrupt the cooking cycle. Try cleaning your membrane and control panel with a soft and damp cloth to remove the dust. If cleaning doesn't resolve this issue, try resetting the microwave oven by unplugging it from the power source for a few minutes, and then plugging it back in. The microwave may not generate the required heat to cook the food properly if the magnetron or high voltage capacitor is defective. This could lead to the timer counting down without any heating action.

My Miele H6800BM microwave stopped heating. Over and everything works fine but when we switch to microwave function and set time, it starts running but it doesn't heat.

If your Miele H6800BM microwave is no longer heating food and there is a noticeable change in its operation, it is likely that there is a malfunction or component failure specifically related to the microwave function. Here are a few potential causes for the issue: 1. Magnetron Failure: The magnetron is a crucial component responsible for generating the microwave energy that heats the food. If the magnetron has malfunctioned or failed, it can result in the microwave not heating. 2. High Voltage Diode Failure: The high voltage diode in the microwave circuitry is responsible for converting the AC power supply to the high voltage DC power required by the magnetron. A faulty diode can prevent the magnetron from receiving the necessary power and thus lead to no heating. 3. Faulty Capacitor: Capacitors in the microwave circuit store and release electrical energy. If a capacitor associated with the microwave function is defective, it can prevent the microwave from generating the required power for heating. Given the symptoms you described, it is likely that there is an issue with one of these components. It is recommended to contact a qualified technician or the manufacturer's customer support to inspect and repair the microwave. They will have the expertise and necessary equipment to diagnose and resolve the specific problem with your Miele H6800BM microwave.

  1. Disconnect the power: Before you begin, make sure to unplug the microwave or turn off the power at the circuit breaker to ensure your safety.
  2. Remove the mounting screws: Look for the screws that secure the microwave to the built-in housing and remove them using a screwdriver. There may be screws on the top, bottom, and sides of the microwave.
  3. Slide the microwave out: Once the mounting screws have been removed, you should be able to slide the microwave out of the built-in housing. Be careful not to damage the surrounding cabinetry or the microwave itself as you remove it.
  4. Disconnect the electrical and venting connections: If the microwave is hardwired into your electrical system, you will need to disconnect the electrical wiring before removing it. You may also need to disconnect any venting connections.
  5. Remove the microwave: Once all of the connections have been disconnected, you should be able to lift the microwave out of the built-in housing and set it aside.
