Clean the printer as recommended by Panasonic - if you don't have a manual, you should be able to download it.

The driver is beta but here is the page you can find it on. It is close to the bottom. There is a 32bit and 64bit driver there.

Drivers for supported OS versions are here: http://panasonic.net/pcc/support/mfp/dp-1820/index.html . The available drivers support GDI, PDL and PS. Get the one appropriate for your needs.

There are Win7 drivers but it is a beta version.

The following might work:

Switch off at mains, remove paper from tray 1, close tray 1, switch on, replace paper when prompted.

check out panasonic page for a guide. I connected a DP-1520p successfully under XP. Forget about windows 7 because the software are in beta.
