Look under and check the brakes to the pulley which could be scrapping the pulley. It is so common that the washing machine can make terrible noise in many ways and is a common fault. In all occasions it is important that your observation is most important and so is vital to the identification /rectification and solution. If you have noticed that machine is vibrating when it is running then the motor /drum suspension has to be inspected. Since these fittings are located on the underside of the machine it is important that you look for the noise with a good inspection lamp. Manually turn the motor and drum and listen for the noise, if so the motor bearings, the drum agitator shaft and fittings must be checked. Also the suspensions which include the shock absorbers and springs, the body clamps must be checked to be in correct alignment and not changed in position. Tightening of the mounting is also very important. Finally in most cases a drop of OIL or smear of grease on the moving parts cane solve most issues.

Hi
If the washer won't fill you'll need to check for the water
inlet hose, the water inlet valve and the pressure/water level switch assembly.
Inspect the inlet hose coming to the washer for any blockages. If the hose is
not clogged then check the water inlet valve for any clogs, if the water will
not even fill for few seconds then certainly the water inlet valve is bad and
should be replaced. You can also use a multimeter to check continuity on inlet
valve. If you don't get any value on the multimeter then you'll need to replace
the water inlet valve assembly. However, if the valve is fine then the
pressure/water level switch assembly should be replaced. Hope this helps...
Please post back if you need more information.

It is a common fault that the drain fails to work in most machines in a period of time and is the most problematic fault in a washing machine. In all occasions it is important that your observation is most important and so is vital to the identification /rectification and solution. If you have noticed that water has leaked then as the drain hose pump/valve and fittings are located on the underside of the machine it is important that you look for possible leaks here. In some cases the drain hose would be clogged at the drain end to outlet of the house and so there will be back flushing resulting in overflow to the outside. Also the drain pump/valve can be clogged. Now remove the drain hose clamps and remove the drain pump/valve, clean the drain pump/valve, use back flushing to clear off all dirt. Now test using power to see if this works and can be simulated. When refitting, the hose must be tightened properly. If the pump/valve does not work even with power then it must be replaced. If there is intermittent power to the drain valve/pump then the program controller unit is a suspect.
Finally the washer must be placed with a tilt- use a spirit level- so that all water will drain to the outlet port and thereby there is no residual water remaining.

Hello & Welcome to FixYa
When the washer fills but does not agitate or spin
then you can check if the lid switch is fine. You can jump start the lid switch
by connecting both the wires with each other or use the third wire to act as
jumper between the two. After this if the problem is solved then replacing lid
switch is recommended repair. Please get back to me if you have any other
questions.

Hi
Unplug the electrical cord of the Speed Queen washer from the electrical outlet before attempting to replace the belts.
Turn the water supply off at the shut off valves behind the washing machine and locate the screws on the panel in the front of the washer.
Remove the screws at the bottom of the front panel with a screwdriver and pull the panel forward from the bottom, lifting it up off the clips at the top,two screws at the bottom of the front panel, front panel swings up and off. Take the front panel off the washer cabinet, setting it out of the way and locate the screws underneath the top lid inside the cabinet.
Remove the screws with a screwdriver from the top lid and lift the lid, flipping it back to rest on the rear hinges.
