Speed Queen washing machine pump, part no 27041,

The impeller shaft has a water seal. This seal wares out after a period of time. The hole allows water leaking through the seal to escape. There is no known repair to this problem except replacing with a new pump. Trying to block up the hole is a waste of time.

Break noise for LNC6757A71

Look under and check the brakes to the pulley which could be scrapping the pulley. It is so common that the washing machine can make terrible noise in many ways and is a common fault. In all occasions it is important that your observation is most important and so is vital to the identification /rectification and solution. If you have noticed that machine is vibrating when it is running then the motor /drum suspension has to be inspected. Since these fittings are located on the underside of the machine it is important that you look for the noise with a good inspection lamp. Manually turn the motor and drum and listen for the noise, if so the motor bearings, the drum agitator shaft and fittings must be checked. Also the suspensions which include the shock absorbers and springs, the body clamps must be checked to be in correct alignment and not changed in position. Tightening of the mounting is also very important. Finally in most cases a drop of OIL or smear of grease on the moving parts cane solve most issues.

Laid down the washer to

Hi

If the washer won't fill you'll need to check for the water inlet hose, the water inlet valve and the pressure/water level switch assembly. Inspect the inlet hose coming to the washer for any blockages. If the hose is not clogged then check the water inlet valve for any clogs, if the water will not even fill for few seconds then certainly the water inlet valve is bad and should be replaced. You can also use a multimeter to check continuity on inlet valve. If you don't get any value on the multimeter then you'll need to replace the water inlet valve assembly. However, if the valve is fine then the pressure/water level switch assembly should be replaced. Hope this helps... Please post back if you need more information.

My Speed Queen dumble dryer

HI....Does the MOTOR works or rotates. If it still heres no problem with that...if you smell something bad on your machine there something wrong with the motor wires coil..possibly overloading can cause problem with the motor..motor will produce more power beyond its capacity then its coil becomes hotter that gradually burnt the coil. You can check by removing the back cover of the machine.Unscrew it properly.locate the motor as well as the shafting..If yuo smell something bad with the motor possibly coils got burnt. you can check both ends of the motor terminals using a MULTITESTER .Unplug first the machine set the MULTITESTER to OHMS to the lowest value ..Now if moves a little means there is no short circuit happened but if it does the moves its maximum value then it has been shpt circuited. The armature coils might been short circuited

I have speed queen model

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,

I would gently suggest as a first step that you clean the drain motor/pump lint tray/filter. So many 'faults' are caused by blocked filters and many machines will not even go to rinse or spin or release the door lock if there is any water still left inside.
Here are my complete and generic guidance notes for checking both the drain motor filter and the drain motor ;-0)
If you are unsure where the filter is, it is often behind the front lower (kick) panel (or in some machines at the rear in an awkward position!). These panels are either held on by (plasic) screws or will just pull off. Most filters are held in by a round cover/knob. Sometimes the filter will not come out with the cover and you will have to persuade it to come out to play.

REMOVE POWER AND ENSURE YOU HAVE A WATER RECEPTACLE/RAGS TO SOAK UP THE WATER WHICH IS BOUND TO POUR OUT (alternatively use a wet vac as sensibly suggested by VinnyB1234!)
It's surprising what people have found in theirs! It is always worthwhile checking it on a regular basis.
Now- whilst the filter is removed it is normally possible to see the drain motor and ensure it is not jammed by a foreign object such as a needle or a toothpick. It should be able to be turned by hand/finger- the power IS OFF!
At this point it is also possible to test if the motor works. No clothes or water in the machine, select a spin cycle and put the power back on. You should be able to see the motor turning at some point, possibly straight away. Using something suitable like a glove see if it is easy to briefly slow the motor down. If it is easy then the motor is malfunctioning.

If this has assisted you please consider a 4 thumbs up for the rating.
Thanks and good luck!

The most probable cause of your troubles is the lid switch, the washer will fill and agitate with the lid open but the lid must be closed for it to spin(yes i know the lid is closed but if the switch is defective it doesnt think it is closed)

Hope this helps

Water is not draining out

It is a common fault that the drain fails to work in most machines in a period of time and is the most problematic fault in a washing machine. In all occasions it is important that your observation is most important and so is vital to the identification /rectification and solution. If you have noticed that water has leaked then as the drain hose pump/valve and fittings are located on the underside of the machine it is important that you look for possible leaks here. In some cases the drain hose would be clogged at the drain end to outlet of the house and so there will be back flushing resulting in overflow to the outside. Also the drain pump/valve can be clogged. Now remove the drain hose clamps and remove the drain pump/valve, clean the drain pump/valve, use back flushing to clear off all dirt. Now test using power to see if this works and can be simulated. When refitting, the hose must be tightened properly. If the pump/valve does not work even with power then it must be replaced. If there is intermittent power to the drain valve/pump then the program controller unit is a suspect.

Finally the washer must be placed with a tilt- use a spirit level- so that all water will drain to the outlet port and thereby there is no residual water remaining.

Replacing the pump on a Bosch machine, please check this link for tips:

Speed Queen (ringer washing machine)

Hello & Welcome to FixYa

When the washer fills but does not agitate or spin then you can check if the lid switch is fine. You can jump start the lid switch by connecting both the wires with each other or use the third wire to act as jumper between the two. After this if the problem is solved then replacing lid switch is recommended repair. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.

Speed Queen washer mod. AWM

Hi

Unplug the electrical cord of the Speed Queen washer from the electrical outlet before attempting to replace the belts.

Turn the water supply off at the shut off valves behind the washing machine and locate the screws on the panel in the front of the washer.

Remove the screws at the bottom of the front panel with a screwdriver and pull the panel forward from the bottom, lifting it up off the clips at the top,two screws at the bottom of the front panel, front panel swings up and off. Take the front panel off the washer cabinet, setting it out of the way and locate the screws underneath the top lid inside the cabinet.

Remove the screws with a screwdriver from the top lid and lift the lid, flipping it back to rest on the rear hinges.

Either the transmision is worn or stuck out or the motor is.

Disconnect the belt from the transmission and try turning the motor, then the transmission. If it is the transmission check to make sure a small sock or something else isnt jammed in the drum under the agitator.

TOP LOADING SPEED QUEEN HAS

Thanks for choosing FixYa and welcome. It sounds like your timer switch is not working to me. As you probably already know, this is what allows it to go to the next setting. The switch may be bad or it is possible that it is not getting power due to a loose connection or bad wire. Your control board may not be picking up the signal. It could be either one. I would suggest the timer switch first though. You probably need a new one.
