Lubricating oil for kenwood a701a

They are lubricated with food grade grease, not oil. Any oil dripping out is coming out of the grease as the grease gets older and starts separating liquids from solids.

Why does mixer smoke and smell like burning cloth while still running

Very common problem on those is old capacitors on the pcb. Sorry I cannot help you where to buy them but search for supply in the UK should produce results.

Motor started to smoke. What do I do to fix it?

Take it to someone familiar with old Kenwoods. At the age yours is it can sometimes just be in need of a couple of capacitors on the speed control PCB.
