GLGC30S8C- The burner dose not
Here is some trouble shooting tips for me to have you check out. This should help you.You go to light the burner on your cook top and the spark does not work. What can the problem be? In most cases the problem will be because thespark ignition module has gone bad. This spark module is a piece of electronics that produces a harmless electric spark at 2-4 pulses per second. Because the spark is a ultra low amperage spark, it is not dangerous.A typical spark ignition is usually in a metal box located somewhere under the cook top of your
stove or in the back panel of your stove. The easiest way to find this
is to simply follow the electric wires that go from the spark ignition
box to the spark tip located at each of the burners. The spark is activated by a switch that is located behind each of the burner control knobs. When one of the switches is turned on, all of the burners spark at the same time. To troubleshoot the spark ignition you need to determine if the system is wired in series or parallel. If the system is a series system and one is not sparking, then none will spark.Almost
every time if the spark is not working, it is because of a bad switch.
To isolate which switch it is, turn each switch till you find the one
that does not activate the module to spark. You can confirm this by
pulling the two wires off of the switch and touching them together. If
you get spark you know that the switch is bad. If no spark happens then
either then a wire is bad or the module is bad. If none of the switches
cause the module to spark then it is a good assumption that the spark module is bad. By checking
through these procedures you will be able to tell whether your problems
are caused by a bad switch, a bad wire, or a bad spark ignition module.
You will discover almost every time that the switch behind the burner
is the part that needs to be replaced. If this is the case you can go to places like sears, or local appliance store and give them model number and all that fun stuff and they can order it (if not in stock) and you can put it in yourself pretty easily, Thanks , I hope this helps, Mike

The control panel must be on and in manual mode for the oven to work. Turn the power off for a moment and then back on. If the panel starts to flash, set the time and set it to manual and the oven should work. If the panel does not light up it is faulty and requires replacement.

Hello- I would stop using that burner immediately, it is possible that there is an electrical short either in the burner or the burner switch. This could potentially cause fire or a shock. You will need to have a Tech out to diagnose the problem. Good luck, best regards.

Hello,
Yes.
What
this indicate is that there has been a bring up/meant wire from the
wire connection from the main power supply (from the wall) connected to
the burner. there are two of solving this problem bellow
put off
the power supply from the wall or were ever the power supply is from to
put of the the element then two unplug the wire from the wall the
unscrew the range the trace the wire down to element (heat provider)
from the back properly then test the round the wires and replace the
weak wire among them.
You can get a wire replacement from any
technician store around your local area but if you are unable to get if
your self then you will have to invite a technician to visit your range
in order to avoid more damage on it.
