My laptop model pcgfr55e I dont know if it can

I don't believe your computer has wireless capability. If not, you can purchase a PCMCIA wireless card that would work.

It's not a notebook.

Possibly there might be a problem with the Video Card in the All in One PC.
You can try updating the BIOS version and the Video Card driver to correct the issue. If this won't fix the problem, contact your computer manufacturer for further help with a possible hardware problem.

How can I speed up

Hey

If you only have 512MB of ram, installing more ram will speed it up a lot. Max supported ram is 1024 or 1GB. install another 512MB ram module.
it will improve the performance.
Do not install windows 7 to this computer, it does not have enough ram it will be slower.
Let me know if you need further assistance or advice. Ekse

Machine idetifies the cd drive but it will not

1. Make sure you have the most current driver installed (from the Sony website).

2. Try to play once the new driver is installed.

If it still doesn't play, your CD drive is dead :( sorry.

When i open my vaio pcg-frv37 laptop it says NTDLR

  1. Insert the Windows XP installation CD into your computers CD-ROM drive and restart.
  2. You will be prompted to “Press any key to boot from CD…”. Press a key.
  3. Once loaded, the Windows XP setup menu will give you several options. Press the “R” key to repair Windows.
  4. When prompted, selected your Windows installation. In most cases this is “1′. Press enter.
  5. You will then be prompted for your administrator password, enter that password. If you don’t have a password set, just press enter.
  6. Type the following commands, pressing enter after each line. Replace “e:\” with the letter of your CD-ROM drive.
    copy e:\i386\ntldr c:\
    copy e:\i386\ntdetect.com c:\
    fixboot
    fixmbr
    bootcfg /rebuild
  7. After entering that last line and pressing enter, you will be walked through the process of rebuilding the boot file. Most of the prompts should be self explanatory, but here are a few tips:
    • The first prompt should ask you to confirm the operating system that was automatically detected. Make sure the detected OS is the operating system you have installed and then type “y” and press enter.
    • You will also be prompted for a “load identifier”. This is the user friendly name that is displayed when selecting advanced startup options. You can type anything you want here, but it is best to type the full name of the operating system (such as “Windows XP Home Edition).
  8. Eject the CD from your computer. Type “exit” and press enter. Your computer will restart, and this time it should load without displaying an error.

Hello, SONy Pcg-FRV37,Power problems

Clean the metal contacts on the Battery and in the compartment. Then, reset the BIOS to its default settings.
Next, plug in the AC Adaptor to charge the Battery.

If the issue persists then the problem may be related to the power circuitry.

Battery lights and fan works but nothing else does

Better check first your air vents/holes for build up clogs. Might be a thermal problem. Blow that using compressed air can. Second check your memory card, might be dirty contact with the connector. Cleaning using a soft eraser only its edge connector. But disconnect first the battery and Power Adaptor supply line and power it down completely before doing so.

Could be its problem is dirt build up. If this first steps fails, consider your plan checking its internal. For overheat and other check up.

For inputs, hope it helps.

Max Ram PCG FRV37

If the 1GB sticks fit and you are able to insert them it will not do any harm to your PC. However, it will only use the max amount stated in the manual. This is hardwired into the motherboard so there is no get around.
