Based on the information you have provided, it seems that the issue might be with the Operating System.

Hence, it would be better to restore the Computer to the Factory settings.

Restoring the Computer to the Factory settings would delete all the Data in the Computer.

Select your model notebook and the Windows drivers you require. Please click on this link to the Sony support WEB site :-

Sounds like it could be that the cooling fans needs to be replaced. Contact a laptop computer technician.

This is most likely an LCD screen fault. You could check the LVDS cable that connects the motherboard to the screen also.

It sounds like you have corrupted files in windows, or you have a problem with the hard drive. Remove the hard drive and re-seat it back in place, start up the computer! If no change, use the original recovery disc if you have one and reload the operational system, if that fails have the hard drive tested for bad sectors at the computer repair store.

You need to be online to check E-mails-and Internet explorer cannot display a webpage if your not online-- So it seems the problem is you cannot get online.
If your trying to get on the internet with a wireless connection.and running WINDOWS, .and I am assuming you DO have a wireless router all set up and configured to broadcast the signal (not hidden) ..
try resetting the router (disconnect the power to it for a few minutes) next --be sure the wifi switch is enabled on the netbook---next---go to CONTROL PANEL>NETWORK CONNECTIONS--right click oin your wifi card and choose properties--highlight INTERNET PROTOCOL and choose properties and be sure "OPTAIN IP ADDRESS AUTOMATICALLY" is checked--Does the laptop "SEE" the router?
You will need your SSID to logon to the router(internet)

its internal server error, just try after sometime, you not getting that particular website mean use this website www.vtunnel.com , its the client website form there you can assess any site which is not opening in your server.

It's is probably filled with spy-ware and virus's which slow them down to a crawl. Did it come with the windows disk to restore it to factory again, if so that would be your best bet.....It would be fast as factory again.

PLEASE NOTE BACKUP YOUR DATA, AS THIS OPTION WILL ERASE THE COMPUTER!

make sure that the dvd rw is getting enough consistent power test all leads that are attached to the cd rom including electical extensions and make sure they have a secure connection or just replace them there might be bad/faulty or your drivers may have been corrupted or you might have a virus run your antivrus program you might have to physically unplug the leads for this dvd rw then plug them back in this will activate found new hardware wizard or you might have to uninstall then reinstall your cd rom or uninstall the driver then reinstall for this device hope this helps

Good day,

You have to set the CD as the first boot device in the BIOS.
When you power on the laptop press delete repeatedly until you are in the BIOS.
You then have to browse trough the tabs until you find Boot Priority.
On the first Priority set the CD-ROM and on the second Priority set your hard drive.
Save the settings and exit.

The machine will reboot and will ask you to press any button to boot from disk.
Press any button to launch the installer and you are on your way to install Windows.
