I have a neff B6774N0GB combi oven. Activated the hot air button and it has tripped the circuit breaker. Fan element examined and looks perfect. Oven is isolated from other appliances

The hot air function uses a great deal more current than the other functions. Check the tag on the oven for current requirements, and check the rating of the circuit breaker in use. If the breaker is rated lower than the ovens rated maximum current draw, it will trip under the load. If the rating of the breaker is above the ovens maximum current draw, and there is nothing else plugged into that circuit, the breaker may need replacement.

Change bulb in microwave

Most microwave ovens require the outer casing to be completely removed in order to get access to the bulb. This is not always easy and may require special tools etc.

H7871SOGB/03 combi. Why isn't it working?

The fact the breaker in the fusebox tripped indicates a fault in the appliance that is probably safety related. If it was the mcb (micro circuit breaker) it indicates a sudden overload. If it was the rcd (residual current device) it indicates there might have been a live circuit shorted to earth. The fault is likely to be internal and it is potentially dangerous for unqualified people to fiddle about inside microwave ovens. Many brands are cheap throw-away items these days because a visit to the repair shop tends to cost more than a replacement. The Neff brand is a premium brand and although repair costs are expensive it is likely to be (marginally) cheaper than a replacement.

My microwave intermittently blows the downstairs sockets

If it is tripping the breaker when you just close the door, I think it might be one of the door switches that the latch activates. There are usually 3 switches behind the latch holes in the microwave. One is a safety monitor switch that is suppose to blow the internal fuse if the microwave is started and the door is not closed properly. It should blow the micro fuse before the house breaker unless you have a weak house breaker. It will do the same thing if start is pressed and it senses a problem with the door. You say the problem is intermittent so I assume you do get it to work at times so I'm guessing most of the microwave is OK. I'm pretty sure you have a door switch problem--- either out of adjustment ---or 1 of them going bad.

I am looking fro a Manual to print off for A NEFF Microwave Oven model HFT879. Can anyone help please?

Jon, everything I can find on it needs an "E-number" off the plate on the bottom of the unit. You then should be able to go to https://portal.bsh-partner.com/portal%28bD1kZSZjPTAwOQ==%29/PORTALFRAME.HTM and find your manual. It will be in PDF format which requires the free Adobe Acrobat Reader. Just google it to find a download site for it. Best I can do right now. Good luck.
