If you very carefully prise off the inner trim of the door you should be able to see where the lug broke that was originally holding the screen. Use a small cable tie to fix one end of the spring to one a the angle pieces of metal around where the window is, about the same level (make sure the other end of the spring is on the hook assembly). You can secure the cable tie and adjust how tight you pull it to get to roughly the same tension it would be if still on the original lug. Cut off the excess of the tie and clip the frame back in position. Door should open and close now.Hope this helps

Si votre machine est presque nouveau, contactez le magasin ou vous l'avez acheter, et demandez un retour ou echange.

Outrement vous devez acheter un nouveau. Essayez de faire un peu de recherche sur l'internet avant d'acheter un autre. Le modele que vous avez a recu beaucoup de plaintes de mauvais qualite.

If it is not working then it should be replaced. The issue can also be with the door switch that is not working and so wont allow the door to function in right way. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.

I had this problem. The spring inside the door which pushes the the latches down had broken (plastic peg had broken off).

I managed to fix it by attaching the broken end of the spring to the door frame using a small nylon cable tie using the small hole in the plastic fingers which was already there. Note you need to remove the inside door surround.
