unplug machine for 30 minutes.

two screws to remove top panel. 2 clips to remove cabinet . remove lid switch . of course unplug machine.

CHECK UR WATER INLET VALVE THE HOT COILS MAY HAVE GONE BAD? CHECK FOR OHMS AND FOR VOLTAGE, THEN ALSO CHECK UR WATER TEMPERATURE SWITCH, IT MAY BE DEFECTIVE.

You possibly could have a bad lid switch. The machine may think you still have the lid up and that is why it stops and will not do anything else.

Your mixing valve sounds like it is dead. Pretty easy fix! Do some Googling to find out how to install your particular model and type. Write down your Brand name model number and get a new mixing valve online. bada bing! You just saved yourself $150.

Can you easily turn the motor by hand? If not, the motor bearings may need oil on the felt pads which surround them. Dribble it down beside the shaft at each end (after removing from washer and standing vertically). Any automotive engine oil would be fine.

This should be belt driven? I would imagine jut adjusting the tensionwould work.

The pressure switch has to be satisfied first, then it will agitate. There is a way to force the agitation, but hooking up the water would be easiest. Hope this helps

There are many places where they can leak. The first place I would check are the supply hoses.

If the motor was submerged in water it's probably shot. They aren't made to function during and after exposure to water.

its a 7/16 bolt. so with a longer extension on a ratchet and holding bak the agitator with the other hand, perhaps a sqirt of some 3-n-1 oil ,

it has a self cleaning filter mounted under the tub. if you want to clean out the tub and filter thoroughly then:

• run a cycle with no clothes using hot water and a gallon or two of bleach. 
• after the tub has filled up add a teaspoon or less of dish liquid like palmolive. this acts like a surfactant for the bleach. 
• make sure you also run an extra rinse cycle to make sure you have all the bleach out of the machine before putting clothes in.

Either not enough clothes or the lid switch is bad.

this could be a simple fix, where your hoses screw onto the back, ensure that there is a screened washer in place as your cold water is pushing the hot water back through the lines so the hot can't come through with the cold running as well, thats why it will only be hot or cold, scoot down to your white goods center and they will provide you with the correct washer screens for your unit, cost should be no more than about $3 a piece. good luck.
