If Acer never made it compatible with windows 7 in the first place you are out of luck. They made it to work with 8, so they had no reason to support win7, therefore it doesnt and you should.... install 10! or 8.1

Try using the safe mode with F* and make the change there if possible. If not, then you might want to try repairing the OS.

have you tried to remove the battery and connect the laptop on the charger?

the internal battery that keeps everything running right has died, it is a penny battery 3volts, once you change it everything will work right.

if you can download on another machine or get a copy from someone a HBCD disk. It is totally free. It have Veerson 15.1 or higher should do. Then boot off of the cd and clear your password, wheather it be a hardware password or a windows password, you will be able, hopefully, to clear it. Good Luck.

I suggest you ask a friend with a laptop who successfully gets online at home to come and try your internet connection. If he or she has no trouble it would indicate the fault is with your equipment, though from your description it would seem unlikely. If your friend has trouble with a known good computer and software it would seem either your connection is faulty or interfered with or your service provider is at fault. I am wondering when this trouble began and whether that could provide a clue... If your friend has no trouble, indicating it is your equipment/software at fault I suggest you perform a format of the drives and reload everything and select a middle position for privacy settings. I use Zonealarm free firewall and virus protection, Spybot Search and Destroy free version and CCleaner free version. Because I am only online fifteen or twenty hours per week I find them quite adequate and rarely have any problems. If I do have any problems that can't be quickly and easily sorted I do a clean reload of everything. With a variety of different hard drives for different purposes this is relatively simple. Your keyboard contacts are messed up. You can try cleaning them to see if that does the trick - otherwise the keyboard needs replacement.

Check Control Panel> System> Devices and see if your Bluetoooth driver is correctly installed. If not, then you'll need to goto the Acer website and get your latest drivers.

Hi this is very unusual, i.e. for windows to boot straight into safe mode. The only instances of it that Iam aware of is in machines that have developed a hardware fault.u say that you reinstalled windows 7 , did you do this because you were experiencing issues in everyday use with yout machine?Wheb a windows installation breaks the worst that happens is that you get the dreaded BSOD error, (Blue Screen Of Death,) but on reinstallation of the OS the machine should boot normally unless there is a low level virus in the HDD . I have only been building/repairing PCs for 20 years , so O am not as experienced as some but I would say that you will have to reinstall windows again after using an app such as SEATOOLS or DATA LIFEGUARD TOOLS from either seagate or western digital support to write zeros to e every sector on your hard disk. If a virus is present this should dispose of it. Sorry, this should be done from a bootable dos disk. It should be set to wipe the whole drive and delete all partitions.Only then should you set about reinstalling windows.When this has been done, if the problem persists you will need to have a diagnostic carried out on your machines hardware with a diagnostics card and accompanying software. BIOS Boot

BIOS (Basic Input Output Subsystem) is a programmable chip that controls how information is passed to various devices in the computer system. A typical method to access the BIOS settings screen is to press ESC, F1, F2, F8 or F10 during the boot sequence. BIOS settings allow you to run a boot sequence from a floppy drive, a hard drive, a CD-ROM drive or an external device. You may configure the order that your computer searches these physical devices for the boot sequence. The first device in the order list has the first boot priority. For example, to boot from a CD-ROM drive instead of a hard drive, place the CD-ROM drive ahead of the hard drive in priority. Before you set boot priority for a USB device, plug the device into a USB port. To specify the boot sequence:
