HI Penny,
This sounds like it's telling you to press the F12 key to boot up or access the boot menu, there may be another error for it to tell you this, like missing mouse, keyboard or other item. Look on the screen for any indication of this, let me know what you find

Hi my computer wont start
Hi,
First of all you didnt mention how it gets shut down. So i can say 2 possible ways in which system gets shut down.
First thing is that when you boot windows it will get shut down constantly
Second thing is that it wont load windows. TO be more specific CPU wont get On.
So what you need to do is that If the problem is with the first case you need to see the windows need to be formatted and you can proceed successfully
IF the problem is with the second case you need to get repair the SMPS or you need to see the CPU interior circuits.
I hope it helps.
Thanks.
Hi, My Aspire T310
Hi! Do you know how to reformat? if not you need Com Tech to solve your prblem, Mybe your OS corrupted you have to reformat your computer... God BLess!
Shuts down after 30 seconds
1st step: take out the ram and clean it with an eraser..... blow air over the ram slots and reinsert... it shall work 80% chance.
if that doesn't help then:
your PC might have a cooling problem.....
1 change the position of your PC... a place with high air moisture and high temperature can cause similar problems.
2 check , if your fan is working properly.
3 check the Processor IC thermal compound... a paste which is applied in between the processor and the fan.
