Curtis pmc 1208-2413 schematics
The older control boards can be repaired. Email me, the rebuilder is the only ones with real prints, because they used to work for Curtis. they warranty their work and I have never had one of the rebuilds fail. new those controllers were$480, rebuild maybe half of that but they warranty it longer than original. So another option is up dating the old system but that is like $800, the question just came up with a customer last week.

HELP ! My Rascal joystick has option to raise & lower height of chair; I raised it to get in my freezer and now it will not lower. When it is in the RAISED position, the speed is less than a ONE a
This device either is hydraulically operated or operates use a motor and jacking screw, which is much more common. Take the seat off the jacking post. Put a piece of wood on the top where the seat was mounted. It should make the same kind of motor noise going down as it makes going up. If it never made noise going down it probably because its a hydraulic system so the down button activates a valve opening a hydraulic line allowing fluid to flow out of the chamber holding the piston up that your chair is mounted on. If it did make the same kind of noise going down, its a screw jack type mechanism. In either case hit the top of the wood once with moderate force. I like using a 5 pound hammer. I call it my master calibration tool. Make sure you strike the top of the wood piece straight down in order to avoid bending things. Try operating it now sometimes things get stuck when moved to their limit. So push the reverse button, then tap the piston down. You can check to see it the motor is getting voltage you will need a 24v circuit tester http://www.amazon.com/OEM-25886-6-24V-Circuit-Tester/dp/B0014WIVX6 I would like to see pictures of his devise. Any tag or stickers with who made it, model number?

I have a Rascal 200..was working fine..now after
I had a similar problem on my Pride Legend scooter, it would
creep back in reverse if you let go of the throttle. The FWD/REV spring tensioned throttle pot inside was "off center"causing it to activate in reverse when it should have stayed put with the electric brake energized.
I had to replace the throttle pot assembly. Not sure if yours
is similar, but I would suspect it might be.

Wigwag Throttle Control Pot FREERIDER loose
The spring that applies tension on the wigwag often breaks. After removing the shroud to gain access to the throttle, back off the two allen screws (2mm) and pull off the throttle handles, remove the nut in order to replace the spring. The cost of the spring is about $4.00 compared to the complete throttle at about $250.00.
