Any old standard PCI graphics card will work with this board as long as you stay within the power levels your PSU can put out. You can not put a PCI-E or PCI-Express card on this board because you lack the necessary slots. Make sure you double check the interface before purchasing another graphics card.

Check the setup manual which came with the motherboard. The connector configuration will be in there. If you do not have the book anymore look closely at the board until you find the F_Panel connectors and look to see if you can see any other markings which tell you where to connect each one.

I've been having a similar issue with my ASUS M2N68-AM and have found that it was DOA (Dead on Arrival). Try removing all of the components of the machine aside from the processor, heat sink, and power connections to your motherboard. If your machine does not boot up with this configuration either your processor or motherboard have gone bad. Check to see if you have a green light on the board, if you see a yellow light either steady or solid you have an issue with either the power supply or motherboard, consult your motherboard setup guide for color definitions of errors.

check operating temperatures, check core temp of the processor and memory modules, you can do that by looking at its bios, and locate about system health, if the processor is to hot it would shut off, also check your drivers, if it is booting up to desktop the after sometime shuts off, try locating drivers that are not compatible. better yet re-install the os itself then this time try to load exact drivers for your motherboard
