According to MicroSoft (and searching the Canon site for drivers) they have not released drivers for that printer and Win7 (which seems very odd as long as Win7 has been out.

If that does not help, canon is not releasing updated drivers so you will have to buy a new printer unfortunately.

There will be something covering a small patch of the laser mirror. Find the laser mirror inside the machine (Normally above where the cartridge sits) and wipe this with a clean cloth. Other than taking the cartridge out there is no dissassembly required.

Go to the Canon website (for your part of the world) and download the entire software package. It should include all drivers. Be sure to select the right version of PC operating system before you download.

There is no Win 7 driver, but you can try to install Vista driver
