6C00 error code

I think the 6A00 is a mechanism jam code. There is a device that slides back n forth and acts like a window cleaners squeegie on the printhead. This mechanism seemed to be stuck at its full extention rather than being back at home base. It gets blocked up with drying ink and that had acted like a glue holding it. This has to be released in order to move the print head. If you are a technical head then attempt it otherwise take it to a Canon technician.

My hp ip 4000 pixma not responding

there are a couple things you can try. 1. you can try deleting the software and re downloading it all and see if that works. 2.you can try to unplug it from the wall outlet and leave it sit for about 5 to 10 minuets and then plug it back in.

Paper Jam error 1300, but no paper jam!

Hello there
You may not see a paper jam.

This may work for you, it has worked for many here I given this advice so gave it a try it could work for you. Generally when this happens, something has fallen into the printer, or a piece of paper has been jammed in there.

First step, remove the ink cartridge, and turn the printer upside down and gently shake it, see if anything comes out.

If nothing goes, or you can't hear anything rattling around, get a piece of cardstock paper (60lb or heavier) and gently push this through the printer, to see if it will help push out what might be stuck in there.

And gave the rode that the ink slides on a good clean and maybe a bit oil on cloth and wipe the rod with it.

Please come back and just gave a vote, it will gave me some satisfaction to know am helping some one so I will keep on helping.

When I print photos, they have uniform vertical streaks.

Issue: Banded or streaked prints
Solution: Change the Print Quality Settings (Windows)

Change the Print Quality Settings (Windows) The Quality setting controls how finely ink droplets are placed on the printed page. Depending on the type of paper being used a higher Print Quality setting does not always insure a better print. Print speed will decrease as the Print Quality setting is increased. Follow the instructions below to change the print quality settings in the Canon printer driver for the Windows operating system through a printing application.
  1. Click 'Properties' in the Print dialog box.

Note: Depending on the Application software, 'Properties' may be displayed as 'Preferences'.

  2. Set the desired print quality in the 'Print Quality' section.

  3. Select 'High', 'Standard', or 'Draft / Fast'.
To set more detailed print quality settings, follow this procedure:
  1. Select 'Custom' and click 'Set'.

    win_main_print_quality.jpg

  2. In the Set Print Quality dialog drag the slide bar from 'Fast' to 'Fine' to select the print quality.

    win_print_quality_slider.jpg

Note: There are five options in 'Quality'. However, selectable options are limited depending on the media type.

  3. Select 'Auto', 'Dither', or 'Diffusion' from the 'Halftoning' section.

How do I Turn off my waist ink absorber error message?

You can't. You will need to replace the waste ink tank when it becomes full before it will allow you to print anymore. I had to do that with my Canon at one time too.

What does close the feeder tray mean

The Canon PIXMA iP4000 InkJet Printer has two paper sources for printing. Likely the top feeder tray is not completely closed (it is possible you do not have the printer set up to feed from both which may cause the error).See the Quick Start Guide and the Picture Below:3_6_2013_10_54_31_pm.png

HOW DO I CHANGE THE INK CARTRIGE IN MY CANON 340 PRINTER?

Carefully take out the ink cartridge from the printer. Make sure that you unplugged the printer. Do not touch any electrical wiring. Attach the new ink cartridge. A distinct click will confirm that you reinstalled it properly. Do not expose the cartridge to heat or light for more than 10 minutes to prevent damage. And run a test print.
