Hi ,
It seems obvious that you should free some space on your hdd by deleting the excessive amount of useless files .
1° solution 1 :Clic on " computer" or " my computer " , right clic on C ( primary HDD ) and go to Properties \ Disc clean up and follow instructions .
2° solution 2° :If your Hdd is partitionned C and D , you can increase space on C wit Partition Wizard from

Check the lock switch and make sure it is unlocked. I think the lock switch is on the bottom...or it may be under the lid near one of the hinges. Flip it back and forth and leave it in the unlocked position.

If this doesn't work, then it will most likely need service. Contact Canon Tech Support.

I have a cannon flat scanner 2000 & I came across this once before, I uninstalled all the cannon drivers then re-started the PC & next instead of using the Cannon drivers, I used Microsoft's Drivers & it's worked fine ever since. I hope this works for yourself as well. Best Wishes. Malcolm.

Stelios: there is no "linux" choice on the link you provide. thumbs down, looks like you haven't even tried dwonloading it, without mention to getting the device to work with the "driver" you suggest.

hrm, i found out how to solve the issue. remove the film and do a calibration for the frame, now the scanner starts to calibrate, after a 30sec the program told me to put the film in and scan.

Your scanner problem cleared not easy. may be changing processing unit board (PCB)

From this link select linux as your op. system and the desired language and download the drivers you asked for.

Hi

Scanning require disk space in you computer. Try to remove some clean up or remove some document files in your hard drive to free some space. Check also your C and D drive jf how much disk space it available.

I don't know this device but you could try with a third party twain program such as FreeKapture from
