Took my ev6010 generator out and put it back in

On the ev6010 Honda generator the posive starter wire is black and was accidently hooked up to the chassis ground wire. Then the start button was pushed and nothing happened. I corrected the wire hookup to the positive side but will not start still

Honda gas compressor ec2510e runs great but when reaches 120psi the gas engine idels and the control lever keeps moving back and forth by itself

Your compressor is made by Hitachi. The pilot valve is what controls the engine and the pressure. Most likely the pilot is set to idle engine at 125 psi. The pilot valve can be adjusted higher or lower depending on needs but not higher than say 140. As the pressure drops to about 80 psi the pilot will cut in the engine to refill the tank. Pilot and throttle controls are finicky and require constant tinkering and or parts replacement. Your compressor needs the pilot to control pressure however does not need the throttle control. You can set the engine on constant speed. Less trouble but uses little more gas. Just remove the throttle control from the pilot and plug the hole. If the bad part is the pilot itself you will need to replace it. The new pilot will be adjusted to about 125 psi. Good luck with your repair

Oil Level Sensor Issues

Not worth the work. Just leave it disconnected and check oil twice daily under hard working conditions. Change the oil every 100 hrs of hard use or when it looks black and dirty.

Hose builds pressure and then will not spray

Hi
Look at all associated couplings on the delivery side of the receiver to ensure that air passing through
every joint/coupling and that the hose has not got collapsed walls that are compounded by air pressure.

A good tester to make up is to get 2 hose joiner ends, fit to an either a galv.or brass nipple, join together and test that there is a good flow of air from all points of delivery

Hope this helps

Cheers

My air compressor starts right

It sounds like the compressor is reaching the max psi it can hold. At this point can you use a air tool or blower? The reason it comes back on is to keep the psi at running level. It replentishes the lost or used air.

Good luck!
